- On this episode, we finally get a European car on the show! I couldn't think of a better European car to tackle Mt. Udon than the rare Mk4 Golf R32. A unique car that isn't very well known in the US, that was the trial for what we know today as the Golf R. It's a quick little hatchback that absolutely flies on this canyon!
This series will continue to evolve over time, we have some cars lined up and ready to tackle Mt. Udon! We hope you enjoy this series, if you do, hit the like button! If you haven't already, Subscribe and turn on the notifications for when we upload a new Millennial Machine Check!
Mt. Udon is a closed road, do not attempt this driving on your own. And as we found out today in this episode, anything can happen! Remember, safety first, and always check your car out before driving hard.

Mk4s are different gravy man👌🇩🇪
It handled the course pretty well! R32s have very nice rotation through a corner, as long as you don't blow the front tires off coming in too hot, it takes corners great.
Still one of my favorites 20 years of being announced!
I don't think of the r32 as a canyon road car though. It's much more of a city banger.
I rocked a mk4 gti for 8 years from 2000 to 2008. Had a lot of great memories in that car.
nice ) hi from ua
That sound! ❤
He drove the piss outta that car!! Love it! You got my sub
Absolutely in love with these cars
Yeah that R32 is super tidy! Nice drive too. Good time for one run & done
Nice ride
thing is minty
My clutch lasted till 160k. I daily mine at 200k now. He needs a UM tune cams n a full exhaust to go a bit faster
Was that a closed circuit? (which does not seem to be), very dangerous driving and multiple times went against traffic.
That’s the downside of aftermarket rims…..
How the fuck are these still 30k$ 🤦♂️if you can even find one worth driving
Id say its more a Gen X car
Agreed "X"
