I think in Taiwan…. Not a 100% sure though.
Are they light weight?

Are the boots waterproof at all? I know you mentioned yours got soaked in ocean water.
They are not waterproof. Water will get inside the boots unfortunately, but it won't damage the boot itself.
Are these the ones issued in buds? Im trying to train for buds.

How’s the ankle support?
The material is malleable, but if you leave the plastic supports inside it’s good enough to go hiking.
These suckThe holes let in too much water. Literally after 10m of wet grass your feet are soaked.
