Welcome to Ultimate Survival Gear! Today, I have another Under Armour boots review for you guys and this is the all new Under Armour Stellat G2 tactical boot review.

Let's start with some details:
Leather sole
Shaft measures approximately Ankle from arch
Heel measures approximately 2"
Boot opening measures approximately 10 around

So, overall, I love these new Under Armour combat boots. They are very comfortable, lightweight and have an excellent outsole.

Zippers are NOT recommended for survival, when durability is critical. One extra point of failure.
Just ordered a pair I'm doing security and do lots of foot patrolling. I hope I'm not let down. I'll update when they arrive.

How waterproof are these and I can see they’re not the waterproof version
can this be used for running and also how is the comfort level for really long walking? Thanks in advance
Yea, you can definitely run in these and the comfort level is pretty good, but their Valsetz are more comfortable in my opinion.
Is it oil resistant?
I just bought a pair of these to wear daily to work. I’m not active duty or a reservist anymore and I work an office/desk job but I like to be prepared at all times and these seemed like a great fit to wear daily and be durable enough for most environments and terrain near me.

Bought the Waterproof version today… i have the Danner Tachyon GTX but since it is Winter now in Alaska i needed another pair to switch out ( i do not wear the same pair two days in a row because of sweat, it gives the boots 24hours to breathe ) i was on the fence about Stellar G2 waterproof and Danner Lookout 800G. Under Armour Stellar G2 WP was 104 vs Danner Lookout 800G 170.69$ ( i do not purchase boots on amazon anymore after receiving a fake poorly made Oakley SI Assault 2010 version )
Do you know how they compare in size compared to Nike shoes?
I just wanted to say if ur inside u could go thru the stress of taking them off and getting something else on to minimize sweat or blowdry them but don't know how extreme ur weather is you did say alaska

But i went ahead and bought the WP Stellar G2 they are great just as the Danner’s.
Gonna purchase the Danner Lookout as well cause why not.

Edit: Nike boots and shoes I always have to size up.

Are these boots good for military use? And for working on aircrafts?
Got some and they’re a perfect fit but for some reason they look absolutely massive when I wear them, almost like moon boots. Anyone know a reason why this is the case or any solution ?

The only thing I can see that makes Under Armor "Anti Gun" is they dropped their sponsorship to a woman hunter because some libs threw a fit over her husband hunting a black bear. Not great optics, but a far cry from actively calling for gun control.
I have the zephyrs and they are 100% the boot i'd recommend for military service. Super comfy and durable. I have the old gen 1 UA stellars i use for other work and i've had them since 2019, work full time and they are just needed to be replaced now. Before the lowas, they were the most comfortable boot i had. I cant speak to the G2 stellars, but they were great. Still enjoy wearing my old stellars but love wearing my zephyrs. All depends what kind of work you're doing and what style you need/require. Theres also a huge price gap to keep in mind as well.
TLDR: military service - proven for military use. Civi use - UA will be just fine, especially at the pricepoint

Against LOWA zephyr this is total junk
These are way more comfortable than Lowas, granted Lowas are built like a tank and will outlast these for sure. It is what you personally prioritize in your boot.
How does it compare to the old ua infil ops gtx
Dude I love your video reviews, so I currently wear Carolina loggers, because of work and style and durability. But I want these shoes because they have some look like the loggers (kinda) lol, but they look like a boot that I can use for everything!

love under armour especially their tactical boots and mid cuts. can't find the waterproof ones I bought last year though, they're discontinued

No, these are soft toe duty style boots.
Is it waterproof and up to what height of the boots where water won't leak in?

Both are excellent boots! I do like the Micro G outsole a little bit more, it is more versatile compared to Stellar G2, however, you might want a bit more official look of the Stellar G2. Hard to go wrong with either, but I would definitely recommend going with side zip, whichever one you decide to go with.
Thanks a lot for this review. I'm in Civil Air Patrol, I need black 8 inch tactical (preferably zip) boots, would you say these work well? Do you have any other recommended boots to check out? I tried bates tactical sport 2 I believe called, and reebok rapid response, they unfortunately both had their own problems in terms of comfort.

Yes, these are a pretty good option, I would also recommend checking out their Valsetz Micro G. There is also Merrel Moab Tactical, pretty good boot, I haven't finished with the review of those yet, but the comfort level is impressive. Pricewise though, Stellar G2 seems like the best option. They do fit tru to size and I would recommend water resistant version, unless you plan to use them in summertime only.
