    If it's that short, I would look into making an extension for the ground wire.

    Jason, I know what you mean about needing more than 4 minutes to accomplish installation of the battery relocation kit. It took me about 2 hours. I slightly twisted the starter cable to position it so it would not require additional nuts to attach nor did it get mashed by the coolant reservoir. The reservoir did slightly touch the cable docking station but not enough to effect performance. This April 2021 will be 2 years since I've relocated the battery on my Polaris 570 and I've had no issues, however, I no longer do a lot of mud running these days compared to earlier years. If you've seen my video, I relocated my battery and I changed both side panel latches to make things go smoothly in the field. Enjoyed your video. Best to you and hope you enjoy the battery relocation. I do because it used to physically hurt crawling on the ground and trying to get my hands in past the right front wheel to access the battery easily. Since I've relocated the battery, it's an easy task to change the battery, if required. Have a fine Friday and upcoming weekend. I'm a NEW SUBSCRIBER to show support!! Great video, Jason. Later

    Just started process of installing on my ‘16 570 today. Had trouble with starter ground reaching terminal post but realized I was trying to put bracket on flipped around. Thanks for the idea for coolant line and stainless line. Was trying to figure out how to keep everything clean and tight around that.

    I just bought this kit and my starter cable isn’t even as long as yours. It’s 2 or 3 inches shorter and I haven’t come up with an idea yet to compensate that distance

      Is it possible to connect the original quad cables with nut and bolt shrink wrap to the kits new cables and route directly to the battery in its new relocated position.

    Been thinking about doing this relocation kit on my machine. Good video! Thanks.

      Thanks for watching. It took me about 2 hours - but a good bit of that was trying to decide how to hook it up. I did it because I couldn't handle my battery continously being under water in the shallowest of creek crossings and continously being pelted by rocks.

      @@MrJasonButcher completely understand the feelings around water and rocks. I’m a bit jealous of the new battery location in the 2021 sportsmans.

      I'll gladly relocate my battery and have a decently stable front rack system - the 2021 front rack is JUNK... and you can't fix that!

    Doing this on a '19 450 today, got really frustrated on this step! Going to the hardware store tomorrow to try this...how has it held together for you?

      Still going just fine. I haven't put a tremendous amount of hours/miles on the machine, but it doesn't run any different than when it was "stock".

    Okay good stuff, "but" where did you relocate the battery to and how did you route the battery cables?

      @MrJasonButcher  Před 3 lety

      I did everything as shown in this video.
