it looks great unlike most cars on the road now-most are exact copies of other boxes

When People talk about Alfa Romeo has mechanical problems I laugh first then ok ...maybe not a Toyota ...you are right...then I ask what is better? When they say German cars have less problems, then I laugh with my a.. double 🤣🤣 ...I own a alfa 159...it is pretty much less problem then a e90 bmw ...and looks quality..all better ...I could buy any of them...alfa is so good technology and design

As far as "driver's cars" go, it is both the cheapest and the most engaging drive so yes it is the best in that category
@@daviskalvans4304 Sure the electrics have a mind of their own but engine failures are extremely rare. In contrast, engine failures in Mercs, BMWs and Audis are very common, always leave you stranded and are insanely expensive to repair. Compared to that, Alfas electric problems are merely a headache.
@@oxaile4021 The Giulia has left several people stranded on the road several times already due to electrical faults. Even some youtubers were left stranded in brand new Giulias.

I have a 2011 335 msport xdrive and Just year drove a Giulia- nice car but I like mine better - better power steering and sportier
Plus the non sport ti guilia intest srove has the pancake flat crappy seats
Interior was nice
335 is now 340 which is a more expensive car. This Giulia competes with 330 which was 228 before.

Better than BMW ? BMW is full of electronic problems, not particular good make. And the design still in 90's. Also most of it's model is not ultimate driving machine either

Cheap interior, Not so good sat nav, hard to get in and out, not the spacious, awkward boot but ill still walk pass the germans and get one of these

not really - BMW much better....Jo are you presently owning and driving an Alfa - if so what does your screen tell you about oil chg intervals - mine until today showed from 0-16,000 kms or 10,000 miles as I live in Ontario Canada, just came from my dealership and lo and behold the manual according to the dealership says 6,500 kms or 3,600 miles on synthetic - are you kidding me and best of all the fact that I followed my infotainment screen at 16,000 kms., I could have voided the warranty. Now they changed the oil, I got 8 free oil changes from the original dealership and you would think that this is transferable to any ALFA dealership in North America - well think gain it is not. After they change the oil they had to reset when the next oil change should take place - guess what it defaulted to 16,000 kms and not as the manual suggests - there is major disconnect for this car and engineering - the service persona had to call Italy as he did not know how to reset the next oil change schedule OMG what is wrong with this company they are so effed up - Buyer beware,Buyer beware,Buyer beware,Buyer beware

What's with all the poverty spec cars these days? I get the same HP figures and engine size in a much cheaper Camry or even a Mazda 3. Why don't more expensive cars come with bigger engines like V6's? They don't need to be a performance beast like a Quadrifoglio, a detuned V6 with 250 hp will be great.
The 2.0T petrol makes 280 hp.
I have a really hard time believing the horse power ratings of cars like this, 500hp does not mean the same thing as 500hp did twenty years ago. If you believe this has more power than a F40 Ferrari i have a bridge i wanna sell you.
trouble is marketing has latched onto HP ratings as a direct sales tool and dynos are very subjective and there is no industry standard setting for them, they say what you want them to say depending on what numbers you input and where you measure the power rating from (crank, rear wheels, ect)
oh i am not complaining, i all to well remember the V6 Camero and Mustangs from the early 80s with barely 150hp, still i am on the fence about horsepower ratings and the people making $$$ off more is better sales pitch on every performance car made now days

@Wahid Rashidov you want to compare an RS7 to this? Your do realise you would be comparing £100k with £30k/600hp to 200hp. Even the quadrifoglio doesn't compare in terms of price but I'd have the quadrifoglio over an RS7 any day.

Tesla Model 3 is the better sedan with cabin size of an E Class , more storage, same Autopilot from the S/X capable of level 5 full Selfdriving and it out handles the Alfa and 3 series.
azalru the fact you even mention "self driving" tells me everything I need to know about you. As for the Tesla 3 handling better than an Alpha or BMW, I think you're drinking a little too much of Tesla's Kool Aid lol

Yes but the Model 3 is quite expensive. Yes I know it's supposed to be a "30-40k" car, but with an awd dual motor upgrade, fully autonomous capability (not standard), extended range, etc... its almost 60k, which is wayyy more expensive than the alfa/3 series/ a4, etcc that max out at about 50k with all options. Tesla is just not there yet (but it will be soon)
