- We FINALLY completed our dining room makeover! I love how it turned out! My husband and I tag-teamed this project and it has made this girl happy! We removed wallpaper, repainted, added woodwork to the wall, new drapes and accessories. My dining room isn't very large, but we utilized every space possible.
My chandelier and custom drapes are probably my absolute favorite things in this room. Well, that and the wood ceiling my husband installed. If you have any questions about anything, don't hesitate to ask! I hope you enjoy this video!

I love the chairs and the draperies, they look fabulous in your dining room. I just redid my dining room and changed out my chandelier and painted the ceilings in alabaster by SW and the walls in agreeable grey and it looks great. My dining room is in similar to yours but a little bit longer and I have a large rectangular dining table. I also have mirrors on the same wall as yours to open up the room. I also loved your hurricane and wreath. I have to agree with the other commenters that your florals are top notch and do very real and full. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Hi Jennifer! Your dining room is beautiful Simple Elegance! Just lovely! Girlfriend you and I could be dangerous together!! lol! You always have such good basic ideas and its obvious you practice what you preach! I also love to entertain with lovely dishes and atmosphere and unfortunately I think it is going by the wayside! However, when I do entertain my children and grandchildren they are always so amazed at how beautiful the dining room looks! When my children were growing up we would eat early on Sunday and if they heard Sinatra through out the house they knew it was going to be a L O N G dinner!! But its what they remember most! I just love your decorating...so common sense and elegant! Have a great day! :)
My daughter Sarah wanted to hijack my comment- Hi Linda! You and my mom sound like two peas in a pod. When I was growing up, especially on Sunday or with company, we ate on our beautiful dishes with nice napkins. I learned as a small child how to set the table with silverware and glasses. My mother used to play Steve Tyrell throughout the home while she cooked and I can honestly say it has made not only fond memories, but taught me the meaning of hospitality. As a host it is fun to treat our guests as GUESTS. We give them our best service as company and hosts and it makes them feel special. I am glad to say seeing my mother host this way has taught me to do the same. I think I can say the same for your children. Thank you for being a good host and keeping that tradition alive!

Thank you Sarah for your response! My daughter is also a great host and is complimented often! Both my daughters were taught proper etiquette at a very young age as so was I! They often remind me of what a good job I did raising them as I can tell your Mom did the same. I was always their Mother and never their âfriendâ and we have always been very close! As Iâm sure your Mother can claim....we have children we are very proud of! Stay safe :)

I thought it was those gorgeous sconces and then I fell in love with the wooden ceiling....and then the floral arrangement centerpiece captured my heart. I can never tell if your arrangements are are real or faux. You carry some of the most beautiful "faux real" foliage and flowers in your store, do you think you will ever sell them in your online shop?

Just found you today looking for paint ideas for our family room.I have a beautiful dining room table that is always covered with pads and tablecloth because I use it a lot and am pretty messy.Never heard of tung oil and am excited to try it so I can finally enjoy the natural beauty of it.

Hi Jennifer. Iâm curious, what size is your table? I have a round dining table as well. My desire was to be able to seat 8 people comfortably with formal place settings and my crystal. I end up with a 68 inch round table.

Love the mirror and wall sconces. Gray home decor is everywhere. Personally, I don't care for it, I prefer the warm colors. But you have a nice table that is beautiful in the rich wood tone.

So agree with you about dishes, how did we talk ourselves into needing formal pieces like we're going to be entertaining royalty or something! LOL!! Like yours, in my formal dining room there is no room for a buffet. Iâve always thought it was âagainst the rulesâ to hang anything on the wall without something underneath but you have proved that it can be done with placement of that beautiful large mirror đ
