- Whew! My kitchen renovation is finally complete. After 5 months of living in a mess (understatement). I am so excited to share with you my kitchen design! We did a complete renovation, including adding a hidden pantry. In this video, I will show you all about my countertops, cabinet design, appliances, lighting, and more!

What was the most difficult (sounds like the floor!), working with you to get everything 'just rightx and all the myriad of problems that popped up. I believe that little brass decor item in front of your counter bread boards is a candle snuffer. If it's open all the way through though, it couldn't be that! It looks open at the top but hard to tell if all the way through. BEAUTIFUL kitchen and wonderful choices!! ~~M~~

We remodeled our kitchen in 2020 with my husband doing all the work. The whole thing was agonizing, but we survived! We ripped out oak and I chose white cabinets, white island and white subway tile exactly like yours. After I ordered my cabinets, I began to see online that the white kitchen was out - as was subway tile. I was feeling pretty sick that I had just ordered two huge items for the kitchen that were already considered outdated - and they hadn't even been delivered yet! I suffered a lot of anxiety over what I thought were huge mistakes, but once it was all in, I loved it. I decided that going with what you like is what matters. I have watched your videos for a long time and love everything you touch. You can imagine my surprise and delight when I saw that, for the most part, you chose the same things for your kitchen that I did! Now I love my kitchen even more! Thank you for sharing your beautiful new space.
I am so sorry you had anxiety! GIRL! Choose what you love, and it turns out you made the right choice. It is such a fine line to decorate with things you love, and to try to be "in style". But, in the end - it is your home! I'm glad you love your kitchen!

Loved this video so so much ❤ I am in the process of downsizing, and building a carriage house at my daughters. One area that I’m not compromising on is the kitchen as it will continue to be the heart of our home. The ideas you shared are just what I needed. The ceilings will be 12 feet. I love the idea of the brick, it works wonderfully. I also love the mix of old and new. Thank you for the inspiration

I think the little antique pot with the handle is a french chocolatier to make hot chocolate. I watch a lot of French videos and have seen them a lot in France. You kitchen is so well thought out and beautiful!! Great job Scott and Jennifer!!!

We put a new roof on, rebuilt a 1/3 of the house to add our master suite , a fireplace, updated our kitchen, added a bar, new flooring and vinyl siding😳🏡 but now that it’s all done, looks like a completely different house! Some things are worth the wait!

It’s Middle East coffee pot, you make Turkish coffee in it. Because the coffee cups are more like shot cups, you can get 4 cups out of it.
Jennifer, this is just gorgeous!!!! Please tell Scott he is a hero!! LOL!!! Please be sure to list actual colors and manufacturers of various elements, I'm working on ideas now to upgrade our 26 yr old kitchen...heck, the whole house eventually!! LOL!!! Oh, and what flooring did you go with? Just love all the little accents and details. Wish my hubby was so handy, I have SO many ideas but no one to execute them. Your home is so much like what I'm striving to do in my own, love that we have similar tastes...like bunnies 😊. Currently, our #1 project is exterior repairs but come winter, my attention will be on the interior projects like painting. Thanks for sharing!!!

Beautiful kitchen. We did this project about 4 years ago and it was so much fun. You could have moved the microwave to the pantry. This is the newest trend here in Atlanta area with Kitchen design. I went with Quartzite counters because of the limitations on Quartz with heat. Nothing above 190 degrees can be put on those counters because the resins in the Quartz will melt and flash. I have several clients upset about this with their quartz counters. Ex: A client briefly set a hot tea pot near the sink to re-fill it up and it left a round flash mark that you see. Another clients sons make cookies and accidently put the cookie sheet directly on the counter out of the oven. You can see where the square outline of the pan is next to the stove. Just a surface that you need to me mindful of this but, all countertops have their pros and cons.
You are SO right! I have worried about being so very careful with the heat! I thought about the microwave in the pantry as well, but thought we might like a few less steps and have it in the kitchen. Thank you for your kind input!

I like how you shared all aspects of the project including how difficult it was removing the tile floor,(insert strong arm emoji), and the materials you used. I want to comment on cabinet style! Shaker style is a great choice as it adds a little style but easy to keep clean! Lastly, your videographer did a great job spanning the camera to objects in the space AS you were describing them! I’ve seen a lot of videos that just show the camera on the commentator and not enough on the room being described! Bravo!! I’m sure you’re super glad to have this huge project completed and finally able to share! 👏👏

Absolutely love the redesigned kitchen, love the choice of appliances. I agree with the drawer microwave I find the above stove microwave an annoyance and being 5 foot tall it's a challenge. If this was my forever home I would definitely use some of your tips but as my house will be put up for sale in a year from now I remodeled my galley kitchen with almost to the ceiling new cabinets, my ceiling is just over 11 feet tall. Just can't wait to see your next video.
