Love that you shared your techniques and tips while also explaining it doesn't always stay perfect! You're so right. A tidy home definitely lowers stress and overwhelming feelings for all the people in our home, including the kids! I definitely need to stop turning on the washing machine until the dryer is empty, I almost always end up re washing my loads.

I like the idea of not having excessive laundry baskets, but how do you go about separating whites, colours and towels if you put everything straight in the washing machine?
I never separate my laundry, lol! I just throw it all in together and i’ve never had an issue.

I wash my toddler and our clothes seperate though we use the same free clear detergent so his clothes are washed on delicates, does it make a bad big difference in washing all the clothes together in normal? Thank you :)

How do you fit in things like cleaning the bathroom? That’s what I’m struggling with since having a baby 😂
I leave a bottle of bathroom cleaner and a bottle of bleach in my bathroom at all times. Then when I use the toilet during the day I give it a quick wipe after using it. Then next time I go to the bathroom I'll wipe over the sink. Then when I've had a bath I give that a quick wipe over too. I have a 2 year old and have found this way has worked for me so far! Goes for most housework, do a little at a time and try and clean up behind yourself as much as you can. Less overwhelming that way as I get stressed out easily if there is too much to do
@@Karis94 thanks for the reply! That’s a really good idea to split it into smaller chunks! Right now it just seems like such a big overwhelming task, but that sounds more manageable for sure
@@splahk And if you can, something that my mum has done for years is have two vacuum cleaners. So one on each floor of her house. I only have one and it's a pain carrying it up and down the stairs. Just something that makes life easier if you can afford it!

You have a very small living area. Easy to keep it clean..
I live in a small place too. It’s easier to clean, but it’s also way easier for it to become a disaster. The cleaning can feel nonstop.

actually having a big place with few things it's the easiest combination to keep clean..cause everything has a home...small living area can get cluttered much faster
