most brands of period cups have different shapes and sizes!! i would recommend getting a different size and researching companies a little bit- i know there are a lot who will send youtubers free cups for sponsored videos, and then your viewers could also get a discount code! :)

It’s actually really common to need a different size period cup after giving birth. I would recommend trying a larger one and seeing if that fixes the problem.

Not postpartum, but I've always had issues with my menstrual cup for the first day or so of my cycle. Have you tried reusable pads?? Cup + reusable pad = perfection. I picked up a pack and I wash them with my laundry and it's a game changer for that super heavy day of my cycle! They absorb super well, and I don't find it gross or weird or anything like that (I actually find them much more comfortable than disposable pads). Definitely worth looking into!

I’ve heard you need to get a bigger or different shaped menstrual cup sometimes after birth.

When it comes to period cups I would recommend the reusable period panties. Way better for the environment and from what I hear last a long time, well worth the initial investment

I watched the first ten mins of your video at 7 am today and I felt so motivated that I cleaned out my kitchen, closets, tv stand (I was shoving things in there lol). I finished laundry; and I vacuumed/ mopped everything. Taking all the extra mugs, clutter and clothes to goodwill tomorrow. I just finished the other half of your video now. Thank YOU! Now time to take a nap haha 😴

Reuse the ziplocks!!! As much as you can. The whole zero waste lifestyle is so that you use what you have for as long as you can! Reuse, repair, repurpose! :) don’t go for the aesthetic , go for the function x

I use fabric pads and they are my favorite thing in the entire world. They're super absorbent if you order the ones on Amazon. I've tried a Diva cup before and it never worked. Fabric pads are a great alternative.👌

Menstrual cup and resusable pads work so well together. The only con is washing them but if you are already washing disposable diapers then reusable pads are a no-brainer!

I use the nixit menstrual disc its wider and catches EVERYTHING!! Ive also heard of the period panties too that would help give you an extra peace of mind with leaks.

Reusable, washable pantyliners. I used them after my daughter was born, because I react to the stuff in regular ones. Great vid. Its 2am, and I have an urge to organize.
