- Are you really ready to move abroad? Is money stopping you? We get asked the question all the time about wanting to leave but needing to find a job or make an income. As we discuss it we thought we would bring you in on the conversation. We are letting Ced speak his mind about this topic and hopefully provide a new way of looking at this high priority topic.

You don't wait to go to another Country to generate an income...You generate ie it before you move to your destination!!! I would never move anywhere without having my income right!!! I'm a jewelry designer...I either have to have my work online or sell it on a site selling and generating an income before I move...Never leave your comfort zone unless you have your ducks in a row...I can sell jewelry anywhere the only problem is I would have to ship all of my beads and material because that's my bread and butter...that's the hard part...It would take a lot of suitcases so...I rather ship my items...be smart people whatever you do

I am going to be retiring in a year. My goal is to do slow travel. I like to live in Thailand for 1 years, Panama for a few years and the last place Mexico.

Thank you for mentioning businesses in Mexico but charging US prices. This is long overdue! BRAVO! I support these businesses when I am bopping, but not at US prices. I pay well, but come on, when I am there, I live on pesos, and I buy in pesos.
Thanks for sharing! We have noticed that people talk about bringing their businesses here and that is great but the mindset has to shift that price points differ from the U.S.

That could work! Join some FB groups for the country you would like to potentially reside in, post about your endeavor, and see if there is interest. That would be a great start.

HEY CED & Bobbi! Bobbi, believe it or not, I just thought about senior assistant Friday night as a way to make money in Mexico when I was thinking of ways to make money. I guess you confirmed it. I would love to see how to get something like that started. I'm a medical biller by trade. Sometimes people just need companionship, med reminders. Thanks sis for confirming what I thought about Friday.😊
SIS!! The start is to come up with what services you would offer with that business and pricing. Then figure out where you would like to do it and being getting the word out on social media and these various FB groups.

You two didn't mention how you are sustaining yourself monthly. Most people who move and are truly sustain themselves are veterans and they don't mention it. You gave to great ideas however taking money out your 401K??? Personally I would strongly caution against though.

Normally, we would strongly agree about the 401k situation however, we are speaking to people who are really wanting/needing to take a break from the U.S. Whether temporary or permanent. We get asked this so many times and we understand some need a right now solution. That is why we suggested that. in regards to what we do to sustain ourselves, we have shared that in quite a few videos on the channel. We both work though.

Good morning, guys! When traveling to SMA, should I come w pesos or dollars ? Thanks again
GM. I would have Pesos anywhere in Mexico. You're going to be better rates. Most places don't take US dollars anyway. I would just go to the ATM once you're in Mexico and pull out Pesos. Remember to decline the conversion rate. Doing that will give you the rate your bank charges which is always going to be better. There are tons on CZcams videos on getting money out of the ATM in Mexico. I would suggest watching a few to get an idea of what we're talking about.
