    That was the most strange pcb i ever seen in my life 😂yet really interesting! You really took the "think out of the box" to another level! I also liked the selection of ic's, very interesting stuff.

    when you look at the usb connector it's designed for hot swapping, the power pins are longer than the data. Normally on hot swapping you want at least the 0V to make the first and last connection, followed by the power with the data coming in last. you don't want the powered side to try and power (either source or sinking) the the device being plugged in via its data lines.
    it's also worth looking at data sheets to see if there are any power up/down sequences required.

    Wow!!! So many creative and unique ideas at once! Amazing! Kudos! I do not know so much about USB isolation, other than, IIRC, there are dedicated chips, for the purpose. And, maybe don't overlook simple concepts, like octocouplers... To me, those are a 2 for 1; you get isolation and amplification. Hmm... I am envisioning an old multi-disk CD Player/Juke Box, hacked to swap out boards, for different tasks. Dude, you are on the next/NASA-level. Bravo!
