This circuit calls for germanium diodes but I found Schottky diodes work well too, due to their low forward voltage. 👍(I made a video on that last year!) Having said that ... are their resulting signals really different?

i’ll have to test the germanium I have from the old RadioShack new old stock package, I want to try all kinds of different configurations of where to place the octave in the path. I might have to make a small Proto board with machine pin sockets for swapping.
