Who else loves this lady!?
Good to hear someone know what they are talking about
I do! I do! My hamstring already feels better an hour after watching one of her videos and applying what she said during training!
i Do. So positive and professional Lady. Thank you very much Megan:) With love and respect from Russia.
Your lonely and a lesbian 🥰
Lol I love her to!!
Years after the video. Long story short, my coaches and trainer told me stuff but this lady has told me the most knowledgeable stuff on my hamstring ive ever seen. Helped me actually understand everything about the type of injurys.
As someone who has had hamstring issues I can tell that the presenter is very knowledgeable and the information extremely useful. To have such credible advice, in a way that is explained simply, is a significant resource to have freely available. Thanks so much. Subscribed!
Very clear and concise video. I'm now glad I haven't did a lot with my Grade 0 - 1 hamstring pull. I've pulled my hamstring in college before, and that legit took about 4 weeks to heal. That 1st week was absolutely brutal, with me still having to walk to classes. More than likely a Grade 2 pull or tear. This seemed to be similar, but feels much better on Day 2, without me having to take any pain pills. Hopefully within the next 3 - 5 days, I'll be over this. It does hurt whenever I stretch it out inadvertently.
Unbelievably thorough thank you so much!
That was ace! Will be following your advice to the letter. Many thanks for your time 😊
Probably one of the best presentations on CZcams overall...Difinitely learnt a lot
Anyone here because they’re older than they thought they were? I know I am haha
😂
Yep… starting playing rugby at 30… here I am. 😂
Thank you so much this was by far the most helpful video for my injury i found!
I love how she speaks, everything is detailed and she addresses potential concerns, and alternatives
Whenever I have any sports injury issue (which is quite often as I run regularly), Maryke is always my first reference as she explains everything in detail and provide the most up-to-date information with all the science behind it. Just about a week ago I ran a half-marathon and I hurt my hamstring, and after seeing this excellent video, at least I know what to do and what not to do during the first couple of weeks before getting back on track. So, thank you very much once again! 🙏🏽
Your content is amazing. I feel like I’ve known you all my life!!!! Thank you!!!
Omg i hope you never stop educating, You're a really good teacher! I really am thankful for your videos, I'm a student physiotherapist, and I'm learning so much from your videos. Please continue what you do! :)

I really like this lady . I have been on CZcams for some years . And she explains everything and it makes me crazy that she doesn’t have much more followers. I take my hat off to you.

Thank you for this video. I've had a hamstring tear for more than a year I haven't been able to fully heal. I've heard so much conflicting information, which this video helped me to put in some perspective.
Awesome work, just bonkers this is free content. I am impressed with the quality, depth and clinical sense throughout the video. Highly recommended!!!
Thank you. This video was detailed and extremely useful for dealing with what I think is a low grade strain. Excellent!
This lady knows her stuff well thought out and detailed.
You are wonderful! Thank you for sharing your talent
Awesome injury coaching! Tysm! Just gotta level 2 over here lol, dreaming of a run 🏃♂️ thanks again!!
Best and most informative video I found. Thanks
I hurt myself but not in sports. Today, 11 November 2020, as I was bending over and down with my right leg to discipline my puppy, I got a sharp pain in my left leg in the hamstring muscle. I heard something pop. Your video is very helpful and now I know that the messaging I began to do was wrong. Thank you very much.
Thank you, Marijke. There are many videos about hamstring injuries on CZcams but most of the content creators don't seem to have your knowledge of anatomy, nor the understanding that different grades of injury and different patients will require different treatment.
Terrific information, and easy to follow. Not the common infomercial trying to sell you gadgets. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing so much helpful info, getting my hamstring injured was a good thing because I got to see this channel, I will be watching your other videos and strengthening my weaknesses so that I avoid getting hurt
Excellent video and really very well presented. I hurt my leg an hour ago playing football with the kids...stepped on the ball and did a full on stretch with my right leg and went straight into EVERYTHING I'm not supposed to do...Massaging it, heat packs...this video has gone a long way into giving me some idea as to what's going on down there. I'll definitely be coming back to it in the next few days.
Thank you so much.
Wow, she is awesome. Very thorough discussion of injury grades, healing time table and what to do. Thank you.
I love you and thank you for being very thorough and clear
This video is piece of great knowledge for fitness sports and other such people. For me this is the best knowledge video ever explained so simple and understandable.
3 week ago had a hamstring pull on my left during performing a kick in air and ended up with a bad pull. Didn’t know what stage I was but now I know that was the grace zero. Am so bloody amazed that you spoke of exactly what I went through. Am astonished how could one know the symptoms of pain and and without experiencing it. Am shocked. Studying to b a physiotherapist is understandable but knowing the pain and the feelings going on in the head of the patient is another great thing.
Thank you for this great lesson. Will share this video as much. Hope to meet u one day. Thank you.
Brilliant video. Thank you so much.
Thanks for this really good video! Could you please give examples of exercises for core & pelvic stability and glute strength that are safe for the hamstring? Not sure which one will pull it even more! Thank you in advance :)
Thank you soo much for sharing your knowledge. This helped me prevent it from getting worse. Thank youuuuu
Wonderful analysis
Explained the process very clearly! 👍👍
I wish i could see this earlier... great job at analyzing all the phases with so useful details, thanks a lot!
Glad it was helpful!
Wow! this is by far the best ever video I have seen by a therapist and I have seen 100s.. you are an amazing teacher/advisor...easy to listen to and follow...i am just going to follow your tutorials from now on...it makes SO much sense now why i battled with injuries in the past...i have felt a sharp pain last night playing football, i immediately stopped playing, i am pleased i came across this, i am diligently going to follow your advice, i am on my first day after the initial time of injury, i was planning to be back on Saturday playing but i will wait about 2 weeks and then re-assess the injury after following your treatment process, i have come to learn that PATIENCE IS KEY!...Thank you for a very exciting and informative video...consider me a follower of your outstanding works...long may you continue to do what you do!

Thank you for talking about the neural tension!! That test completely changed my approach to treating my problem, so thank you so much
What treatment options did you take with it? I just performed the test and almost immediately the stretching sensation ceded once I lifted my head. I want to know how I can go about treating neural tension now with my hamstring strain
I’m looking for the same information on how to work with neural tension. Is it just that we should be stretching our glutes and lower backs while strengthening our core and pelvis?
She’s fantastic!
Brilliant content and delivery thanks 😊
Very welcome
