I heard Rempe say in the post game that it was the first time his mom was in the crowd. How can you not feel good for this kid? I was at the game. Couldn't be happier with the way the Rangers played. If they keep up this play every game they're going to steamroll this postseason. LGR!

Did hard sens fan, from Ottawa. I love Pittsburgh, second favourite team. Should have been them, had a great record in last ten games with great momentum. Would have been a better series to watch. Crosby belongs in the playoffs, it feels empty having him not in contention. @gunpuppy3533

I did not like the caps going in just because they are too old. This is an illusion. They are not close anymore. Keeping Trotz would have helped though. Can’t blow it up with Ovi. Though they are closer to the cup than the Pens.
Trotz didn't want to stay, the Islanders offered him a lot of money and he took it!

As a Wings fan, I am honestly not that torn up about losing out to Washington, because I’m better them than us hahaha! That second Rangers goal was straight bullying, lol, shoved down, 2-on-1, barely even shot it hard, just MEAN. Haha, I love it. I think NYR may have to be my team in the east.
Rempe looks like he’s about 6’9”. NYR have got better each of the last 3 years. CAR, Bruins and FLA also winners this weekend as expected.

Last year the Rangers might have played down to Washington's level and lost this game especially after sleepwalking through the 1st stanza. This team however is built differently. Much more focused and the coaching staff this year is miles ahead of last year's (non) coaching staff. Boston, Florida and Carolina all look good too. Eastern Conference semis and finals this year will be lit.
I believe Lord Stanley will make the east coast his home this year.

It was shoulder to shoulder at least 4 feet from the boards. He just fell awkwardly. You're not even getting a call there in the regular season. Caps had 4PPs to 2 for the Rangers. I don't think the officating was the difference here. When you're down two goals in the 3rd and don't even get a shot on goal for over 10 minutes, it's not a good sign.
Rangers in 5. I think they’ll probably take one of the away games. But then I hope we get the series winner in NY

There is no way the caps win this series. I mean on paper it is seemingly impossible, based on the game the rangers are relentless for a full 60 mins and i dont think the caps can handle that. It is a miracle they are in the playoffs in the first place. All that said im rooting for a miracle bc that is much more fun. If the rangers lose this series the president's trophy is abaolutely real. THis is the rangers' series to lose.

Wow, these two commentators are the most blatantly biased pair out there. There's really just one team they talk about. "I guess it's a little bit of an elbow". I'm not a fan of either team but they were just awful.
