I've tried it with Lithuania, with its starting air force it generates 1k manpower/day, Lithuania starts with negative manpower. Fixed the lack of manpower in less than a month.
I did this during an Anarchist Spain game, where I had to fight a combined coalition of the entire Axis and Allies (with USA) combined. I finally capitulated in 1954, but I "generated" close to 5 Million manpower with that, it's pretty neat
Absolute dedication to keep the game going that long under those circumstances, sounds like a tedious but fun run

This exploit is how Luxemburg world conquests are done so it's pretty op especially if you have an autoclicker macro you can just walk away from your computer for a few minutes
this is probably maybe can be useful on nations like canada australia south africa who kinda struggle with manpower but less so with the industry
I've been using this exploit for two years. It's amazing especially for East European and Balkan countries.
On "bigger nations" Can't you just set to train a huge amount of divisions, preferentially divisions that already need huge amount of manpower, to make this viable even for them?
But you don't really need more manpower for those nations

i'm playing france rn and struggling with manpower, currently at war with ussr and a few euro countries like hungary and romania so can't pull it off
This is perfect for Czechoslovakia btw. You have so many production buffs as Czechoslovakia but you have barely aneough manpower to secure your borders. You can get to 3000 foghters easily and you can (since you are fighting defensive war) do this during the war too.
I've tried with a "smart" auto clicker like AutoHotkey. This software can check if the manpower display is 0, and I set it up so that it pauses until all manpower is drained. In this way manual clicking is greatly reduced.
haha I've been watching your vids for a few months and today is the first I've heard of a main channel..
One way that I've found this exploit useful is while playing greece. They start with an under-equipped and a manpower deficit in their army. They also start with 80 or something bombers i think which allows you to get over 1k manpower a day by only using the bombers in their airforce. Also with New Zealand, their first air focus gives them a good amount of planes which if I remember correctly is like around two thousand manpower, great for nzl. It's useful in other scenarios too but you have to take time to build up a sizeable airforce. To do it the fastest, set the airwing size to 1/1 (or larger for more planes so ur game doesn't lag) and click it and hold f until you get all of the other ones from stockpile in that airbase. Then just hold shift and click the top one to unselect it and delete the other planes. You can do this more than once a day if you create a manpower deficit by converting smaller units into larger ones for men you don't have.
This exploit is all right as Czechoslovakia. With focus on air, its an good way to be able to full your army for a defensive gameplay vs germany. And a good way to make sure you got some spare manpower to fill in the loses.
This works well in bigger nations as well. You can set germany for instance to demilitarized nation and artificially limit the manpower pool. Then you can use the allready huge airforce of germany to spawn 5K troops each day. By the time you annex austria you can have pool of over 5 million manpower without once changing conscription laws again
I used to use this exploit when I was newer to the game. But since then I have gotten better and I haven't used it for like months now. I stopped using it because I practically can get through almost all of my situations now.

I loved doing this exploit with El Salvador, getting triple the normal manpower and steamrolling the rest of central america.

The best plane for this is scout, most cost effective plane for the glitch
cost diffrance is only 20% from close air support and these can be used later in combat , close air support i say its best , its cheapest plane who fights and we all know CAS is best air support

Professor Feedback! Quick question. I have 1000+ hours log on HOI of strictly single player. Where would you recommend I look for someone to play a co-op game with? I watched one of your videos where to talked about there being too many “try hards” in the MP community. That’s not my vibe. Just looking for someone laidback who knows what they are doing. Your input would be much appreciated.
I’d say it would be good as a major if you are running out of man power and have extra old planes
This would be OP in multiplayer. Because as Axis, you could have Germany, Italy, etc all lend lease old planes to Hungary or Romania, have one of those nations just keep doing this. Then BAM.
Its good for the Baltics the Low lands and for Hungary if they still have the trianon
This exploit can be greatly increased in effectiveness, altough very painfully you can get 99K+ manpower a day, and all you need is 2 planes and a 2-width infantry division.
Every time you train a new division it immediatly uses up the manpower, so you no longer have to wait untill the day passes. When you can no longer train divisions you cancel the training and re-train the divisions which allows you to get the manpower in again.
This also means that while at war this exploit can be very effective, since 100k manpower (or 75% of your army) in a single day can make a very big impact when you are fighting a war.
Using this technique is a lot of pain, but also a "cheap" way to get lots of manpower, I once used it in a very very long singleplayer game (like 1960 or so, i can't remember exactly) and managed to get 70 million manpower in total (mostly casualties).

I use this. BUT! I research scout plane, put one factory on it from start, and forget it to later. Scout planes are most costeffective per manpower.

might be useful for if your losing a war and running out of manpower.
What if you don't put guns in those divisions? The field divisions have no guns and they go all in to train new divisions while you keep doing the exploit.
Do you need to unpause? Because as far as I know you can bank the manpower, by training a new division, which you can do while paused.

You don't need to wait a day for this exploit to work. You can just 'train' more divisions, so the manpower goes there, you don't need to wait a day or even wait for the deployment to finish

The manpower cost of a single plane is probably the maintenance team etc. Wouldn't it be great if it was reduced by a production strat, like factory output or production efficiency cap above X? I can imagine with technology getting better the planes would be maintained more easily...
In some ways certainly, my 1960s era APC was horrific to take apart and maintain compared to far newer vehicles but with newer planes you add bigger and more numerous weapons, radars, radios, new tech, ejector seats, etc so it sort of balances out.
In wartime they emphasised manufacturing speed where in peacetime you can take your time to make machines easier to maintain.

In single player it's just easier to use manpower in console if one wants it that much

If you're using this in single player, just use console controls at that point

it's very practical, use it consistently, it's not just a manpower exploit, it's a free 150-300pp exploit as well. Romania doesn't need to waste valuable pp on bumping up the conscription laws, no nation does really, total mob becomes a joke with the minus recruitable pop as you can generate it out of thin air. you also keep forgetting that if you don't have the max number of divisions queued up, you don't need to unpause, you just need to add a division to the queue, so if you're low manpower, from day 1, you can get a minimum of 100,000 by staying paused by just adding and deleting units from the queue. the biggest benefit is not spending the PP on manpower. As Romania, you can puppet Bulgaria or Hungary as the second focus if you play your cards right with deploying divisions. I don't think you're giving this exploit the credit it deserves.
@@pubcollize In ironman mode you can't console command in manpower, so to get some achievements, this heightens your chances drastically
@@pubcollize maybe just to save a run that got stuck. I don't remember which one it was, but I was on scraping the barrel, and I had the Soviets on their knees (97% or something), but I just didn't have enough troops to push further and I eventually lost because they had too many division. Yes, better micro would have won the game, but it was a 6h game that got wasted for 1 encirclements gone wrong? It's kind of annoying...
@@pubcollize because every achivement is world conquest. And minors need this because they cant match majors in early game.
