I love love love this tarot deck, there are so many hidden gems in the guidebooknas well and imo it is written really well and don't give away too much so you can use your intuition as well. Each card is just VIBES - like i can feel the images in my heart and I feel like I can literally walk into the card and feel it out.
Imo it doesn't get enough love from tarot community, perhaps because one needs to take a bit more time to get to know the deck or perhaps because they aren't really connected to momma Earth 🤷‍♀️

Oh I loved watching this (and thank you so much for the lovely shoutout 😘). I totally agree with you that the Madre of Fire is a card where the guidebook could be a bit better and I had to go off some of my own culinary knowledge of thyme for that one. It’s one of those herbs that is in just about every cuisine (I always put it in chicken soup, but it’s also in European herbes de Provence, Middle Eastern za’atar, Caribbean jerk seasoning, everywhere!) and it brings gentle supportive warmth rather than tons of spice (unlike the Adelita of Fire, for example, who is cayenne...much hotter energy!). So I interpret it as bringing all kinds of people together, being that gentle glow that gives everything flavor...definite queen of wands energy. Plus apparently it is extremely antibacterial so there is some of that protective fierceness that I also see in the queen of wands. Just thought I’d share because I had to add some notes in the guidebook on that one! 😂 Loved seeing you read with this deck!!

I love this series. This is a deck I am interested in but don’t know much about herbs so it’s pretty intimidating. I really appreciate that you read intuitively and also reference the book. I love a good book and many deck reviews don’t use them or focus on them at all. Thank you so much for this series. It is extremely helpful for me.

Thank you for this reading, Lisa. I am struggling through a true Tower season in my life and your reading hit on so many things I am experiencing. Made me feel a little less alone in all of this.

As a lover and grower of medicinal herbs this is one of my top 5 favs. I love that the book gives you ways to incorporate the herbs. Has a great earthy grounding feeling for me :) Love your channel :)

I bought this deck from this video... I have not much of a clue about some of these plants.... Now I have it in my hands, a different way of working/learning with it. Definitely a deck that will encourage and support my connection to plants. Already I am researching a local plant and folklore surrounding it. So can't be bad. Ha!

Omg I love how you broke it all down and read thru it...I’m definitely buying this deck!

I totally agree in how it’s hard to work with decks around astrology or herbs or other studies just because I don’t know much about the subject. Beautiful reading!

Oregano can also be used to treat cough, colds and sore throats. My mom (the granddaughter of a herbalist) used to give it to us as kids (older than 2 years old). You can crush some leaves with a small amount of hot water to get a concentrate, or boil leaves with more water to get more of a tea. As a child it was something we'd try to run away from because it has a rather pungent, rubbery smell. Anyway I found that interesting because it still ties in with the message in the guidebook of speaking up clearly.🗣

I have this deck and I bought it with the intention of deepening my knowledge of herbs in a more spiritual sense. I've been growing herbs for a decade and I make botanicals, medicines and food with them, but I feel like there's more to know. I want to connect sight, scent and deeper meaning while I tend and create with herbs.
I resonate in an odd way with this reading also: Queen of Fire is typically my favorite card and I feel a relief when I see it in a reading. The Oregano card is the first card I ever drew from this deck when I first got it and as a result, began planting oregano in my garden now that I know it has other valuable uses aside from Italian seasoning, and Echinacea is my "magickal" herb this year; I had planted it last year and it never came up. This year as I was prepping my garden beds in April, I noticed a row of brilliant green growing among the weeds. It's the echinacea. Totally unexpected. So this reading is winking at me, or something, with all the "coincidences."
I also have another of Joann Powell Colbert's decks called The Gaian Tarot, which I love. It's more peopley, and very earthy as the name would suggest. I believe she also wrote the book for that deck.
Looking forward to more Tarot by the Book!

The reading was great, but what was more important IMO, was the lesson you displayed. Showing that it's ok to say I don't know. 💜

Wow that advice card really hit home for me in my current life situation! The guidebook actually tells a lot of potent messages and I’m surprised I like it so much since I usually prefer intuitive reading :) Thank you for the great reading!

Wish list here we go :DDD I was actually thinking about a way to learn more about herbs (and oils) because of your 101 series, a deck like this would be good as a study deck too, right? :D I mean first I'm learning basic astrology and the book meanings of the tarot cards (so I can stop looking up my notes and use them with my intuition and learned knowledge together, I know, no one cares, but hopefully a long comment helps the yt algorithm to value this video XD)
    Thank you for the reading!

Hi Lissa, Lyberius here! I’ve personally worked with this deck myself for three weeks and I agree that reading the cards can be a challenge at first. Do keep it up and your efforts will definitely be worth it. This deck has helped me incorporate more Herbalism and Herbal Magick into my daily practice, and I definitely wish you good luck! 😊
