6:17 OMG same!! memorization also helped me a lot during my thesis defense lol. that's why i disagree with those saying that memorization isn't helpful at all. memorization is still effective as long as you understand the information you're trying to memorize
As someone on the other end of the phone, I really appreciate what a great job the overseas call center agents do, at least 9 times out of 10. Must be such a challenging job. Makes me feel so lucky to be born in the US speaking English, even though our country is far from perfect. Must take such patience and dedication to hear us whine about all our first world problems.
That family convenience store needs to be on the resume using a job title that tracts with the role you are applying for with the new company. Customer service always has a production element whether face-to-face retail or in call center environment. This is an excellent opportunity to highlight your relevant transferable job skills. It doesn't matter whether it's a long video as long as its informative and well explained just like yours 👍 Now I know why I liked to watch your videos 😁 because we had "something in common" 😂😂 and tbh I'm doing that technic even in my school days, I do it "verbatim" 🤫 It really works wonder when you have ready answer to a certain questions. One thing I can add is "I'm having fun" using idiomatic expressions to those ready answers. Tsm😘
I used to watch your videos way back when I was working in one of the Call centers in Pampanga to improve the way i communicate, and now As someone who has been out of works for almost 3years now because of the pandemic I am now rewatching all your videos to regain skills I unknowingly unlearned and confidence I loss. Hope i could still go back in track.😅
For me,u don't need to memories of all those answers also as long as u get some idea hihi,so be u yourself base on ur past experience and yeah u can take some keywords to trow ur main answers as well
I agree, Candace. Plus,, its not just the idea of memorizing an answer to a question but, how u present them to the interviewer. Since, English is not our native language,,its important to practice a lot before we face the music. Remember that communication skill is vital if u want to make it in the BPO. First of all, your videos have been helping me so much as I'm going to enter the call center industry hopefully very soon. So as I'm not a native speaker there's always this thought I have which makes me horrified about, that what if I don't get what the customer is saying especially having a british accent? What do I do! What if literally maybe most of the time I don't really get what he/she is saying? How can I not seem stupid asking a customer in different ways to repeat that again or at least how can I make this get better? Also what if there is a word which I don't know the meaning of maybe something about the british accent which I'm not in knowledge of. What do I do?

My whole life, I never wanted to work as a call center agent. Because same as you I get mental blocks and I'm an introvert, I'm self conscious about what I'm going to say. But i really really do wanna try to apply cuz it might be a life changer experience but I'm still scared of the idea 😢

First of all, your videos have been helping me so much as I'm going to enter the call center industry hopefully very soon. So as I'm not a native speaker there's always this thought I have which makes me horrified about, that what if I don't get what the customer is saying especially having a british accent? What do I do! What if literally maybe most of the time I don't really get what he/she is saying? How can I not seem stupid asking a customer in different ways to repeat that again or at least how can I make this get better? Also what if there is a word which I don't know the meaning of maybe something about the british accent which I'm not in knowledge of. What do I do?

This is so timely, Im waiting for interview from a BPO company. My concern is do we really need to write on the resume those months that we are not employed like we are just working for a family business? Just like your experience in question number 2.
