    Looking forward to servicing mine after years of storage in the shed. Great video! 👍

    *It's not a stihl or johnsered but for the price you cannot top this saw.🌳 **allabout.wiki/Poulan** MTD made. Cast crankcase not plastic. Good oiling system. Not too heavy. Great power. Starts easily cold or warm. Case is huge. I like.*

    Poulan is a good saw 4 the money. I have zero complaints!

    They complain because they are hard to start sometimes I also adjusted Idle which most people are on instant gratification clause and don't want to bother with Idle. For the money its good .

    If you throw away the chain that comes on new saws and buy hardwood chains they all perform much better.

    just got one from a thrift store for almost nothing. even if it needs adjustments it'll still be worth it.

    I've never had trouble out of a poulan especially the really old 1s. Husqvarna manufactures them now so they camt knock em for sure now

      john martin You are right it does say 42cc. No wonder it's got tons of power for a small saw

    So I got a question does anyone know if this would die after more than two hours of quick 2 minute uses of the chainsaw I would be using it at a haunted hayride. Also the chain won't be on and it won't be used for cutting just the noise

      I have ran this saw for 2-3 hours almost non stop in temps above 70 degrees and it has never died. You shouldn't have any issues with it

      Godzilla 63 I would say it sounds like a carburetor issue. If you have the carb adjustment tool you can loosen the low and high adjustment screws in slow increments to allow more fuel to pass through. If that doesn't help then your carburetor might be gummed up and need a cleaning.

    • @chriscain4014
      @chriscain4014 Před 6 lety +1

      I'm having the same issue, have you had any luck since your comment? Mine starts fine and warms up on fast idle, hit the throttle and it will rev up, dies when it throttles down. Will not idle by itself, runs if I keep on the throttle in between cuts

    • @CaptainLou94
      @CaptainLou94  Před 4 lety

      Brown Rooster This actually has the 42cc engine even though it’s advertised at 33cc. The sticker on the bottom of the saw says 42cc under displacement
