Loved this movie!! They chose the right actors to pull it off.
And there's a reason why he was at her house in the first place. It wasn't just some Random guy causing trouble. His girlfriend was sleeping with Terry's husband colon found the address and he went to her house. But the husband wasn't there. The issue wasn't with Terry and Colen it was with Terry's husband.
I actually loved this movie
Yeah it was great he’s just the one who take movies too seriously! That was not meant to be taken seriously. It was for our entertainment period

I spent the majority of the movie in awe of Idris Elba because he was such a perfect actor to cast into this role. He's just got that badass'esque that a lot of the other actors can't seem to pull off. He's the equivalent to Gerard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen.
I also spent the entirety of it with my fingers crossed HOPING that this wasn't going to turn into the cliche "mother fights to save her children" climax that inevitably happened like it always does in every movie of this nature.
Because in every instance of the movie aside from when he's in a confrontation with our main protagonist, he's a calculating and methodical badass. Then he becomes Kane from WWE, wherein if anyone so much as looks his way, he takes a spill down a staircase or out of a window, etc... It's SO DUMB to watch all of his hard work go right down the shitter because of this horrible fucking story.
The worst part is the movie got my hopes up when she answered the phone and it was her husband. I was like, YES! SOMETHING NEW MIGHT HAPPEN! and then it didn't and I was disappointed again.
Movies like this make my brain bleed because they're so common and overdone and just... fucking lame. God, they're so lame.
I hate you Idris for polishing this turd with your phenomenal acting chops.

You have to dig deeper and really understand why she let him in her house...number one she's a stay at home mom, surrounded by children, her husband doesn't give her much attention, he's always away and working. So when she saw the opportunity to have some adult interaction she broke and she let him in. And think about it, the only reason she even opened the door was because she thought that it was a friend Meg. She was expecting for her friend to be there. So before you bash the movie, the writter and producers about this movie, try to dig deeper and understand why Terry did what she did..(Taraji P Henson Fan ❤) not being rude. Just saying.

While I always appreciate your honesty in reviews, including this one 'cus from the trailers I could tell it sucked, not giving a crap on whether you butcher/mispronounce someone's name is extremely disrespectful and not the correct mentality a movie critic should possess... or anyone for that matter.
The performances and pacing are good and it was fun seeing it with a lively opening night audience.
The movie sucked to me because it was very predictable. I was expecting a more dramatized storyline and I didn't get that. I could have stayed home and counted the hairs on my head. The movie was a flop in my opinion.

If anyone saw the trailer to this movie you knew it was gonna suck. The fact that another women would allow another man to come in the house in the wee hours off the night you knew who ever wrote this script didn't care. All and all good review.

I mean, I do agree, they could have added a huge plot twist to make the movie interesting, but I found it entertaining. It was filled with cliches, but I was very into the performances. I was also questioning the whole detail about Taraji's charcter formerly being some type of agent on investigations. I don;t even remember if they show why she quit?? I think it was because she her two kids with a seemingly unloving husband, in my opinion. It was creepy at times. I also love Kate del Castillo-I'm always excited to her performances and I believe this her first role in a English(American)language movie. It was very predictable but somewhat entertaining.

I just watched this movie , my first thought when I saw the trailer to this movie was .... WHAT BLACK WOMEN OPENS HER DOOR IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM , LET'S A STRANGER USE THERE PHONE & COME IN . I was always taught don;t open the door uless we're expecting someone , peep out the window to see who it is & turn off all the lights & stay away from the windows if I don't know who it is lol
I'm mad a friend dragged me to this. Luckily we had free passes and didn't pay to see it. It should have gone straight to DVD or Lifetime. I couldn't shake that 'I'm watching a Lifetime Movie' the entire time I was in the theater.

I think it could have been better and more scarier with more intense seens if only, it only. Like how about the husband thing. It was basically Desperate Hour only with just one home invader, a wife/mother and with her kids.

Did you watch the entire movie? Without giving away too much, they clearly explained why he was at her home and his overall intentions.
I was watching this review after Chris reviewed When the Bough Breaks and also mention this movie and I didn't know Chris reviewed this movie, also at 2:26 the poster for Domestic Disturbance really looks like Fatal Attraction but with a triangle and Fatal Attraction's poster had a upside down triangle wow somebody loves copying off the poster and the movie and we all know what it's soul purpose is to make money without any effort put into it besides the acting.

i like this movie and i enjoyed it and i seen it twice already and i love Taraji P Henson in this movie too i think she a beautiful gorgeous actress and she did a great job in this movie same goes for Leslie Bibb for a short cameo and i though that she was good and pretty and Idris Elba did a great job too and he was good in this movie and also Obsessed 2009 too and also i love Kate Del Castillo in this movie she was so good and she had a small role too in this movie and she sure is so sexy as hell and she is so gorgeous too and i'm a huge fan of her now and i'm gonna give No Good Deed 2014 a 9/10 stars i like this movie and i can watch it again over and over and it short too surprisingly i wish it was a bit longer like 10-15 minutes longer but overall i still did enjoyed it for what it was but that just my opinions and thought on this movie Chris Stuckmann bro

I just finished watching this movie and it started very promising but halfway into it started to get very annoying at how unrealistic it became. Random guy in the middle of a rainy night, just lets himself in with the approval of a woman with two children in her house and knowing her husband wasn't coming back all oblivious about everything and just acting like it is all normal to have a guy walk all around her house. Then her friend just comes along and almost act the exact same way... really dumb and not something that would happen specially in America. All doors apparently cannot be locked...the guy gets hit in the head and stabbed a million time but still he always forgives even at gun point...I mean, really the actors were good but the plot was horrible! the ending was baaaddd!! nothing exciting about it specially because this guy who was supposed one of the worst serial killers out there was always very passive aggressive with his "hostage" that it makes you not really sympathize with anyone. I don't usually make comments about movies reviews but I saw this movie on a short scene on Facebook and thought it looked terrific to watch. This movie had potential but was screwed over by bad writting.
The commercial said that there was a huge twist. Can someone tell me what it was?

Overall the twist was so lame I felt like I was watching an M. Night movie.
