    In this video, Bill & the crew at CJ's will show you how to install this Power Window Kit with Crank Handle Switches on your 1967 Coupe or Convertible Mustang from the comfort of your own shop or garage!
    With one of these power window kits, you can transform your windows yet maintain the factory look and feel!
    The kits come with everything you need to convert to a custom power window setup, including new power regulators, AC Delco motors, power crank handle switches for original window cranks, a complete and labeled wiring harness, as well as conduit to protect the wires traveling through the doors.
    With Bill's instructions, you can now install this window kit yourself! The new power window regulators are designed to bolt directly into the original mounting holes with little to no modifications and will use the original glass channels. The original window cranks mount directly on to the new power crank handle switches the same way they would mount on to the factory manual window regulators.
    Make sure you follow the steps in our installation video closely, and expect the project to take up to three hours.

      2/3ds you mean ;-)
      To be honest, getting the vent window EXACTLY right is 50% of the chore since it lines everything else up. I have replaced regulators in two body-styles (coupe and FB) I am now working on a convertible. That is easily the hardest since there's no roof to line up with, or rather the roof needs to be adjusted WITH the glass to get it right...sigh.

    Do you have a kit to create some factory looking buttons to control all the windows from driver side

  • @zakhamilton8096

    Nice vid! I think the power quarter windows might be overkill, but do know of a way to have control of the passenger side window from the driver side?

    My kit didn't come with the rubber door loom for the wiring. Where can this be purchased? (Can't seem to find them individually)

  • @Zerogivengarage
    @Zerogivengarage Před 10 lety

    They make kits for all 65-73 mustangs. If you just want the front windows you can order the fastback kit and it will just come with the two fronts. I have seen someone use this kit with a toggle switch. If the switch is up the drivers side crank works the drivers side window, flip the switch and it works the passenger. I have not done this but ti is possible.

    Really good video! Just some questions: how did you connect the cables on the passenger side and both of the quarter windows and where did you connect the green cable from the relay? And by the looks of it, you don't connect the orange cable at all if i'm right?

    • @Zerogivengarage
      @Zerogivengarage Před 10 lety

      all the power leads were ran together and connected to the relay under the dash. The green is switched, we used a wire we had run to the radio and no you do not need the orange wire.

    • @Zerogivengarage
      @Zerogivengarage Před 8 lety

      +Cedric Williams Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this. The seats bolt through the seat platform so the best way to move the seat back is to cut the welds and move the entire platform back which is not an easy process.

    My 67 fastback mustang has the speakers in the doors. Will the speakers get in the way of the window motor?

    • @Zerogivengarage
      @Zerogivengarage Před 9 lety +1

      I haven't installed one yet in a car with factory door speakers. The motor sits back and the speaker is rather shallow so I think it would work but I have never tried.
