In this new installment of Dirt and Dints we get our hands on a set of fresh 9" spotties from the legends over at Big Red Gear. The Combo kit we got come with 2 9" spotties, a hardwiring kit and a bonus camp light kit we will use later in the build. These spotties pack a huge punch only drawing 150w but throwing out 150,000 Lumens. Big red gear is an aussie brand so it makes huge sense to support their brand and use them proudly on the MK. The plug and play kit that comes with the spottie combo is an easy install it’s as easy as unplugging your existing headlight either H4 or H8 and plugging in the corresponding piggyback lead. The hardest decision and part of the install is choosing where to mount the isolator switch in the cab for the spotlights.
The spottie install on the MK is all apart of our truck build for our upcoming trip to Fraser Island leaving the start of October. Sit down enjoy and make you subscribe to channel!

Hey, bit of an odd question but do the spotties work without high beams being switched on?

G'day mate, What are they like when you go on the highway at night. Do they give you good distance to see an if there's any roos on the side of the road?

Hey mate, they’re bloody brilliant they throw a fair distance forwards and have a good spread, can easily spot Roos and wombats on the roads! Definitely recommend
