Husky Liners® form fit Mud Guards are made from durable, impact resistant all-weather thermoplastic that’s as tough as nails (or rocks for that matter) and as you will see in this video, they are ridiculously easy to install.
First, let’s verify the vehicle application and part number you received matches the intended part you ordered. To do this, find the bar code on the box and check that the information matches your specific truck.
Next, unpackage the Mud Guards, fastener kit and instructions from the box. If you ordered a MudGuard combo pack, please identify which are the front and rear mud guards to ensure proper installation.
To protect your fenders against wear, you’ll want to install the paint protection film over the mud guard mounting surface.
For front MudGuards, turn the wheel for ease of installation.
Clean the area where the mud guard will be installed.
We have provided both a left and right side pre-cut template. Remove the backing liner by folding the liner at the center cut of the template, separating the film sides and peeling the film templates from the backing liner.
To determine where to place the paint protection film, position the mud guard on the fender. You will notice an LH for left hand side and an RH for right hand side.
Next, to remove the protection film from the liner and to flood the adhesive side of the film, mix a wetting solution of 1 pint of water with 4 drops of liquid dishwashing detergent.
Then, using a spray bottle or sponge, wet the film with the wetting solution and remove the protection film.
Thoroughly wet the location of the fender where the film will be installed with the wetting solution.
Position the adhesive side of the film on the fender and flood with wetting solution.
Double check the location of the film using the mud guard and reposition if necessary.
If it is positioned correctly, using a sponge or clean shop towel, squeegee any air bubbles and wrinkles from the film.
You will want to allow the film to dry before installing the mud guard.
Once the film has completely dried, remove the existing fasteners from the vehicle.
Repeat this process for both the front and rear film installation.
To install the rear Mud Guards, peel off the red protective cover from the 3M adhesive on the MudGuard.
Next, attach the mud guard to the fender with the factory fasteners. You will want to double check the fit and ensure the mud guard is parallel to the ground before tightening.
Be sure to press firmly on the area with the 3M adhesive tape to make sure adhesive is set.
Finally, install the spring clip over the mudguard and the fender lip at the location with the raised tic marks.
Attach the mud guard to the fender with the factory fasteners. You will want to double check the fit and ensure the mud guard is parallel to the ground before tightening.
From all of us at Husky Liners, thanks for watching and for those who have purchased a new set of Mud Guards, we appreciate your business. We hope you experience many years of increased protection for your truck. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at (800) 344-8759.

Final clips were almost impossible to manage on 19 ranger.....took 1.5 hours fighting the four clips in place.

he is constantly blocking the view of placing the film with his hands. And camera is so far away from the imaging this film that you can not tell where the film actually is placed. So when it says when you have it placed correctly, but this video does not actually do a good job of showing this. Does it go behind the plastic mud guard where it bolts on the fender?
or does the film go next to the edge of the mud guard?

Awful installation! clips are impossible and the paint protection does not fit the contour of the fender flares.
