Brings back memories, one of my first cars was a 1964 Falcon. Nice and easy to work on. Mine had drainage holes on each side of the trunk. Mine also had the holes like the Flintstone vehicles had when the engine wouldn't start. But in all seriousness these are great little vehicles if you can still find parts.
My son bought me a "63" Falcon Futura Sport Convertible. It's been in the shop getting new rear floorboards put in and the convertible top frame repaired. It's getting a new top and whole new interior. The inside needs some paint work and the outside needs a little bodywork and paint also but I'll do that myself. I call her "Ruby" because she's Fire Engine Red and she's a gem. 😁😁😊
This is where a great big 16 gallon Rigid Vacuum comes in handy. No car from 1963. Doesn't have rust on or in it. Solid, I don't think so. Fixable Yes! Worth saving I am not sure unless your a great body man with the tools and the time to fix it right. Get it running and just drive it! Shawn.

At 14:20 what you had is wind lacing. The ring is part of your heater venting under the dash. Dont throw any part or screw away until you know how it goes together. I have owned a slew of Falcons and many parts are not re-pops today so be wise and buy a FORD shop manual set for the car including the wiring and body manual.
First of all you’re a bad ass for grabbing all the trash without gloves! Haha who knows what or who was living in there or passed through LOL Also your power washing skills were exactly as I do it, wide stream, didn’t miss a spot! During the interior cleanout, when you found the black two foot flex hose, that is your defroster ducting from the heater, connects in the front middle, then up under the dash
I used to have a 61 falcon. I used to buy old cars that were broken and then fix the broken part and then sale it and buy another one do it all over again
A. That ring was the base for the subwoofwr they were going to add to the car on the rear deck. B that duct work is an extension from the heater vent in front under the carpet in the tunnel for your rear window defogger. In the old cars they used the air from the heater core instead of the electrical grid in the window like they do now
@@Sleeperdude save the ductwork so you can defrost in the winter time when you put the seats back in but you can throw the ring away if you arent going to build a stereo
