Fishing for redfish can be a very fun and challenging fish to target at times. fishing with a popping cork can be a very productive tool for catching redfish when no other tactic is working. Redfish tend to be very aggressive fish and will almost certainly key in on the noise that a popping cork will provide thus making the popping cork an extremely effective tool to keep in your tackle box while targeting redfishing. Nice information on the cork and yea i used the ones with one wire. Terrible thing like you said first fish and that cork was done. I thought you had a new product scent when I see you pull out the unlabeled bottle. Like your information videos keep it up

I love the popping corks in the shallows when the shrimp move in. I've got an 8.5 foot rod for launching those things out and use braid for the snapping pop (no stretch). I also use that bomber popping cork for the same reason, chugging. One note, I've lost a few of those corks when the crimp on the top ultimately fails, usually after a few trips.
Dang bro I’ve never seen the crimp break on em. I don’t use them often but they get the job done when the bite is tough.

Dude -- you slammed that fish!!!!! way to go man! I haven't had much luck using the artificial shrimp with popping cork combo as compared to using live shrimp. Have you fished at the marsh area off Loui's bait camp and hand any luck with artificial shrimp?

I know it's hard to find deep water in the gulf. But any plans to shuttle the kayak out to deep water to catch big amber Jack's or maybe even targeting cobia?

I’m not much of a live bait guy but I am going to throw some live bait videos together soon. Me personally I only put shrimp artificials on popping corks though
