- This video features an overview of the 2W-BLX & 2WT-BLX addressable photoelectric smoke detectors. This detectors are faster-installing devices that significantly improve the ability of fire and emergency resources to respond effectively when there’s an alarm. The faster the response the greater safety for building occupants and reduced damage to the home or building and its contents.
So it’s like the addressable version of pthe System Sensor i3. Very cool!
So it’s basically the addressable version of the System Sensor I3.
Very Good information 👍
Addressable smokes are really only useful in larger buildings. Single family homes are generally small enough that a couple conventional zones are plenty.
Statistically they have less nuisance alarms too
An i3 with an attachable address module?
My Aunt Carolyn has this Smoke detector at her house.
Shannon Greenwell Mine too. But with some other Kidde alarms
The addressable has a bit coding talking back to make sure which point that is VERY specific.
I thought i3 smoked weren’t addressable
they arent they just stole it and slapped an addressable module on it
