This detectors are faster-installing devices that significantly improve the ability of fire and emergency resources to respond effectively when there’s an alarm. The faster the response the greater safety for building occupants and reduced damage to the home or building and its contents.

    Addressable smokes are really only useful in larger buildings. Single family homes are generally small enough that a couple conventional zones are plenty.

      Statistically they have less nuisance alarms too

    My Aunt Carolyn has this Smoke detector at her house.

    The addressable has a bit coding talking back to make sure which point that is VERY specific.

      they arent they just stole it and slapped an addressable module on it
