Those are cool. I install fire alarms and I think these are pretty sweet for a DIYer homeowner as far as fire safety goes
I really like this kind of scene-based display of products, which allows us to see the details and functions of the product more intuitively! This video is great! But can you review the Wisualarm smoke detector?
The quality of your videos is outstanding. You deserve more attention.
Thanks, man, super helpful video.
Pretty good. expensive though
The main reason to have a smart smoke alarm for me is when is start beeping, to know WHICH ONE is beeping. Right now I have a problem with one of 10 alarms beeping thet are supposed to flash red. But none of them are. Driving me insane
So if I am at work like 30 miles from home it will still notify my phone?
YES
how can one stop the blinking light on it?
you cant, put dark tape on it...
I read somewhere that you only get a silent notification on your phone when the unit detects a possible fire situation. So if you are fast asleep in bed what use is that ???
You could be right
@@sofiad9775 The units themselves will scream like any old fire alarm, you ALSO get a notification on your phone. It's not one or the other, it's both. I believe the alarm is 83db or something like that
Are these good for detecting cigarette smoke? Trying to correct some home behaviour
Is it relying on the company servers to operate or is independent? As if the company goes bust will become...dumb.😂 if cannot contact mother base. Ta
Sounds like a good device. Whether you're at work or away on a trip, there's no reason to not have a smart smoke detector less you come home to find your house had caught fire either hours if not days ago.
I mean you invest in smart cameras and a security system to get an instant notification as tour home is about to get broken into, why wouldn't you invest in a smart smoke alarm to get that notification just as something is beginning to smolder and tou happen to be out?
