Thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I feel like a failure though. My yarn isn't sticking into the cloth. I wasn't able to put the frame together correctly. There's nobody here who is doing this to show me. BUT, I'm not going to give up...just yet.

@@karenepeters also the yarn might not be sticking in the fabric due to inconsistent pressure. My first frame was pretty bad lmao

What are some things you guys want to work on or get better with, when tufting rugs?
1. Making portrait rugs (especially shading and blending colors) 2. Trimming and carving
3. Controlling the tufting gun better for turns, circles, curves and horizontal rows

My biggest thing would be carving the rugs. I am a perfectionist, and when I can't get it to look amazing, I stop working on it and walk away for a few days. I need to work on my rugs again (been at least a week because 1 is making me mad). I do custom embroidery work and do the same thing there too and get mad when it's not perfect. It's a bad habit.
@@kittykatjessejames I do similar things. If I don’t feel it looks right after carving, I step away for an hour or two and get back. But if I wait to long I get disengaged from the project itself. But it’s always good to take a break
@@RhodyRugs and that's me right now. I just don't wanna tuft (well the last stages). I wanna tuft away but don't want to carve now. I just need to just do it and relax over doing it. 😫
you don’t need to take the time to edit these videos and even shoot them, so i’d like to thank you for putting so much effort into them so viewers like me could see & gain information (in a very captivating way as well). i want to get into tufting. i’m praying that i get the financial opportunities to begin soon. for now, i’m glad i have videos like yours to look upon.
