Can you please do a video on detailing. Like how to hold the scissors, how to angle the scissors. What to look for when detailing and maybe how to use the trimmer as well. Yes, I’ve been doing rugs for about two months now. And this is something that I need help on please and thank you.

Those are really great scissors. If they are too big and they make your hand hurt, buy a few pairs of good quality, smaller scissor with super pointy ends … the extra detail they will give to the smaller bits and bob are amazing. And you won’t end up with cramps!

I also was wondering about the whole scissors over the shaver situation and how to really refine your lines and make everything look "sharp" if you will. maybe you can do a quick video on the basics of how you shape a finished rug? I also was wondering where you got the vacuum attachment for your beetro shears?
I will definitely be making a video on how to shave and detail with scissors and shavers. Also I made that attachment myself for the beetros which I will release it to the public as soon as I can 😁

Dang that rug is sick. I didn't know rugs could get that intricate. That's wild, that look so difficult. It looks like a drawing with markers. Is it possible to over shave the carpet? Lol like taking the clippers and cutting it down too much?
I would love to see a video on detailing as I've mentioned in a live stream before that I am still bad at detailing in my opinion. Would love some tips and such on detailing.
I definitely will be making a video on detailing. I just wanted to make sure that I perfect things before speaking upon it in great detail. But it should come within the next 8 videos uploaded 😁

Correction to the video .
Water fall edges are not rounding out the edges, it’s a part of it but that’s not water falling edges. Folding your edges in and hot glueing them before you put your backing on, that is how you get the water fall edges. Then you can round the edges out as you please.

Honestly I get them whoever I can. I have dollar stores that rarely sell them and a Walmart that normally has them. If not you can always get them on Amazon in bulk

Can you wash these?
I have seen other Tufters wash them. Though I will say I have not since I make mine as display pieces. As long as the rug is made right, it can go through a washer
