I love the green paint job on the elf alliance. In fact Stuart’s elves look awesome too! Couldn’t help but support Stuart on that match- until the next tie-breaker battle!
Thanks! To be fair, Stuart deserved that win after an undeserved hammering in the early game. Also, his elves are stunning.
I really hope we get to play one more time. But last year I think I was assisted by the board which stopped his Balrog getting to the centre in Sieze the Prize, and I wouldn't say no to something else like that ;)
@@BattleCamperHome aha yeah I remember that Moria game well. It was actually quite an epic chase given his disadvantage. It was basically, get the balrog on the prize or lose.
@@finnbruton7274 Haha. Absolutely, I remember when the Balrog needed a 6 to get off the cliff and keep going, and actually got it. I think he'd have won if it weren't for the fact his whip killed the rider he tried to pull into combat.
To this day one of my favorite games. I love it when they have a story to them, and they get tense like that.
You took that second game extremely well, great sportmanship. Overall amazing video as always and keep being a brilliant player!

Enjoyable vlog as ever. Please be careful using a gas heater in an enclosed space such as a van especially with multiple people/dogs staying in it. Don't want you getting carbon monoxide poisoning !

My Dearest Cameron, and others on the thread,
In the heat of the moment (or lack thereof), I made a poor judgement call about trying to keep warm, and making Harry jealous of our exquisite comfort. I see now that I was wrong, and there were more responsible ways to make Harry jealous. Like putting a movie on or boiling some water for hot water bottles. I should have done the descent thing and pulled all his ropes out whilst he slept so he had to get up in the snow to put them back in.
I hereby tender my resignation.

My literally everything is covered in dog hair (or cat hair). If you look closely at the bases, you can see some hairs dried into the resin ....

Been waiting for this one, the weather was certainly bad that weekend, and caused a few travel scares trying to get across the Pennines. Had a great first game against Dominic and his ruffians, so it’s nice to see them on camera.

@@BattleCamperHome Sorry for the long message haha I kept the rivendell knights in the back so they were covered by galadriel's blinding light, then the back rank of spear galadhrim all had bows so while they were D5 they weren't getting shot at. Then the knights charge around to be the hammer, worked okay when I stuck to that plan. Butchered khazad Dum in the first game. Got giddy and over stretched in the second and swamped by Mordor. Beat Moria in the third game, Elrond just went crazy.
Fourth and final game was amazing, Elrond was chasing Dalymar the whole game, then slowly like a one man army, made his way to the centre objective, and I lost the game on the final roll (1 or 2 to end the game) I'd quartered him and only lost 1 elf. Crazy game that I didn't mind losing
All in all great fun, and having galadriel as leader and just restoring Elrond's fate allows him to be one of the best beat sticks in the game 😅
@@hunsler1006 Oh mate yea, it makes Elrond so annoying to deal with. Rerollable, recharging fate!!! I don't think he took a single wound all day in this vid. Although I wasn't very diligent at keeping him near the mirror!!
@24:06 there isn't really any benefit to immobilising Thranduil who is already prone from the wrath of bruinen, or does it prevent him from getting up if he wins?

Thanks Kaz! I love how the cloaks came out. Its Kalabite Green base, Cyberite Green layering and Teclis/Baharroth blue highlights. Hope that helps!

I make almost all the music for the channel. Its a lot more rough around the edges without the narration to distract haha. Unless you're referring to the clips that play over Harry's tranquil early camping, in which case that is the Flower Duet

Hi there - I'm Alex's second opponent. While I appreciate there were maybe some moments that I came across as frustrated, I like to think the video showed the game was played with a sense of humour and good spirits (particularly the arsehole comment , which I hope was clearly the joke it was meant to be!)
I'm a big boy and can take a critical comment, but I think it's worth pointing out that others might find it upsetting and unnecessary. If we're critical about the players, based on a 20 edit of a 2 hour game without all the context, and leave unpleasant comments, that's simply going to stop players being willing to be filmed and then there are no more videos. Just food for thought.
Alex - enjoyed the game, enjoyed the video. A good watch. Maybe we'll get a decider.
@@44Womble I'd just like to agree with all the above. No one is immune from the frustration and, boy, I certainly hogged the luck in that one. What I was hoping to show was that, after my run of luck, the game still turned and I think that's the takeaway. Its a great thing about MESBG that people can think their way out of tight spots, which isn't the case in every system.
As I said after the game, it was great last year and great this year. I hope we get a best-of-three finisher!
