One very big issue with contested territories is that this funny monke game expects the players to treat it as an MMO, if you aren't playing CT with a clock in hand sper sweaty ensuring you are always on time to grab the tiles when they decay - you are going to lose. Also decaying mechanic isn't fun, like at all. The boss rush doesn't seem to share these issues so it will be more popular than CT for sure, how popular though depends on the rewards and what they do with it
Yeah that’s my takeaway as well. I’ll definitely like this way more and I might actually stick with it depending on how things go. Although you’re wrong on one thing. There is one issue that this does share with CT, lazy AF teammates who don’t contribute at all. Though I guess that’s an issue in all games that have teams/clans. I would know.
Overall I’m actually more excited for bosh rush than even the new hero.
Well now I don’t think I will as your bosh rush team is also your CT team. I really don’t like that they connected this with CT. That’s a massive turn off for me. Because then I’ll have to contribute to a mode I don’t like. That sucks.
Disagree with the clock on CT, for most scrub brackets just showing up to spend tickets is what counts
@@cwp24I think the major problem with these team game modes is it's not fun to have to go through all that effort just to watch a number go down from 3,000 to 2,920, and then having to repeat that 4 times every time it recharges. People like team games like overwatch and tf2 not just because they're on a team, but because they can see their contributions to the team and feel like they were one of the best on their team.
@@ernesto_19 your right and actually even only if it did go down from 3k to 2.92k people would be fine with it IF THEY HAD MORE THAN 4 ATTEMPTS. people dont mind grinding if they actually believe it will help, but being limited and truly not feeling an impact specifically when u know your teammates arent gonna be as dedicated as you is guarenteed failure for the mode.

19:05 the amount given is exactly 25% of the normal amount, so we can reasonably assume that boss rush nerfs income the exact same way and amount as phayze one (which is 0.25x income)

I think I like this mode because us skill issue players can help contribute too. I remember in contested territory there were only a few tiles I felt like I could do consistently. I may not be able to get the maximum number of kills in this mode but I can at least get some.
I don’t play contested territory because it’s battling against other players as a team and I dislike that. Boss rush seems more fun because I can play it and not worry too much if my team mates are good or not, plus we are all working towards one goal
Hey ISAB, the Crossbow is a nice, cheap option for starting out against the first few Bloonarius rounds. After 1-2 tiers are down, Sharp Shooter does a ton of damage against the first few rounds. This allows you to quickly save up for a Semi-Automatic Sniper, Full Auto, and then Sticky Bomb.

So to clarify, adora in adora's temple and pat fusty in pat's pond (for example)
And what about the heroes that came before Churchill?
1. Assign random map, let's say the most appropriate one (Quincy gets introduced in tutorial town map)
2. Create new appropriate map
3. Don't do them

I play contested territories with my kids. There are still enough active teams to make competitive fun, but it's hard to find people who play regularly to fill out team with. Still fun tho!

I would love to see you and other bloons youtubers team up to do a boss rush in like a voice call or something, i dont think there have been many cases where bloons youtubers collab like that, i think itd be pretty fun!
ISAB, the Name is Rosalía so the i sounds like how you would read the lee in bruce lee, so it sounds like Rosaleea.
I don't play CT for a couple reasons;
For one thing, it's dam hard to find a team that actually plays and cooperates. In my experiences with it, 50-80% of the people in each team I joined consistently did nothing. I get people have real life to deal with, but if less than half the team is actually doing something every time there's a CT event, it's not a team I'm going to want to stick with. Even when there are people contributing, there's just zero coordination on which tiles are being captured; it always seems everyone is looking out for their individual score only, which is, admittedly, an approach I fell into.
The other thing is that I've never, not once, had any kind of "balanced" experience with CT. Every single time, there's 1 or 2 teams in the lot that absolutely dominate the map while the rest are barely able to scrape up a few tiles, and it's simply no fun to be on either side of that kind of experience.
My only hope with Boss Rush is that teams can be kept separate from teams for CT, because if they're in any way connected that's going to immediately turn me off even trying the mode.

the main problem I have with CT or any team based event is that the trophies you get can't be spent in the regular trophy store
agree wholeheartedly on the solo thing, i dont think ill be playing this mode since its coop
So the laser on Rosalia does 3 damage, while the grenades do 2, but have a blast radius and higher pierce.

Ninja kiwi said that they wanted future heroes to be simpler, but I guess not that simple since shes not as place and ignore as heroes like Obyn.
She's still pretty decently involved. But I love how she's a pretty good support option for ace and heli.

According to the patch notes last update before this that you are probably talking about: they specifically said that after another 5K Jetpack hero (Rosalina), they will work for simpler ones.

I think that the elite sniper money was less cuz that’s how it worked for phase one, where farming is put down for that quest
Rosalia is actually a lot like how I thought Sauda was going to be initially. I figured from some of the pre-release footage that one of her powers would be to change her position on the map; if I were the one designing her, I probably would have made her Lvl3 act like Darkshift, but she damages all bloons in a straight line between the starting and ending spot.
It'd be really cool if they did both a solo and team version, so there a best of both worlds sorta deal going on

ngl i think the main reason people don't do contested territory is because on bmc it actually gave alot of coins and other rewards
I got like around 50th highest solo score in the first ever contested territory and I don't know if it was because of how hard I grinded it or that none of my friends want to play it anymore I haven't touched a single contested territory since it's a cool game mode but It takes so much effort or a really active team
17:00 in my opinion, ive tried making a team and it was completely dead, me and a few close friends were literally the only ones playing, i think itd be crucial for boss rush to have less 'kills' to progress to the next tier depending on how many people you have

My issue with CT snd boss rush is its team based, with an mostly casual playerbase. I realistically do the dailies 3 times a week when im bored and maybe play a quick game or 2 so i couldnt be able to keep up with events like that
Our team is still playing CT. Been active since the mode released.
Realistically I play CT alone to get banners and stuff locked behind it.
And I just wait a few days before starting so there's no one actively fighting for tiles.
On the occasion I'll have one friend surprise me to help out. But because it's not gonna be possible to do alone I'll probably be forced to pass on this boss rush thing
Why don't you just join a retired team who has the banners and stuff you want then?

Hey isab here is a tip, instead of having elite defender (025) on strong for phayze put it on 1st (or last if the portal is on top of phayze) because a lot of the time the shrapnel does more dmg (especially if you have damage buffs like 050 glue)
They saw how people liked the Phayze quest and did not hesitate to

I would like it if the Total Rush HP scales with the # of players in a team, so that smaller teams don't have to play as much. Would also like it to be limited to 1 game a day or 3 games over multiple days, cuz not everyone has a buncha time to grind 4 of these in a Day

Yeah I agree with ISAB on this one, singleplayer would be way cooler, maybe like another ranked gamemode for bosses, but they probably thought there was enough singleplayer boss content already

Didn’t they say they weren’t gonna do another micro heavy hero? Or that at least the next one after Corvus? Tbh Corvus and Geraldo are the only 2 really heavy micro, but this hero looks like a lot of work to use her correctly. I like the help to aces and helis tho.

when you first time entry contest you randomly get in a group
and make group has no limit, a server-wise contest would be fun(maybe map need a little bit change)

I always like playing CT, i just have so many problems with the mode. Like I wish you could look at your team and spend your trophies in the off-season, I wish at the top of the map it'd tell you if you're in competitive or not. (I have a private team with like 6/7 players, and we've really been wanting to do competitive but have been having troubles. The team tickets capping at 6 yet having more than 6 possible slots to use really sucks, etc etc. But I do understand how it's "dying." I thought this boss rush would have been an event to give you more tiles and tropies what not on ct for having the same tickets, but I'm glad that the mode is team only. Anyhow, great video. Also, with what you were saying about the friends thing, (18:31) I constantly ask people if they play the game to add them, but I don't like how you can't send friend requests to people after doing a co op daily challenge or stuff like that with them, I feel like being able to add them there would be a huge improvement
