Honestly, Joker essentially fucked up having the goons fight Harley because well, Harley was second in command for many reasons, one of which she handled the screening process for henchmen.
Nice at 0:10 to 0:12, they go from smiling admiringly to frowns courtesy of Harley flipping them off.
Honestly, Joker seems to be dumb enough to think any of his henchmen could beat Harley considering she might have been the one to screen them for a job. The ones on the train Harley could have easily beaten as well as given Joker the same treatment of being tossed off the train, but then she have a hassle of trying open a door with the keys at the same time, even with her flexibility and smarts that it be pointless if a hero or two showed up.

The voice acting feels so natural
Because they are literally just talking naturally, many modern serialized cartoons started doing that and it sounds really good, for some reason anime dubs havent done this yet and still sound stale and artificial as all hell
@@pats3212 i think its harder for dubs because they have to stay true to the source material which they have certain instructions how they voice act it. Although i know some anime that lets the dubs have more flexibility in voice acting to bring on great performances.

I've always wanted to see a limit free western cartoon that allows blood and cussing. Thought I would only see that in Japanese animation.
I mean I watch rick and Morty ,simpsons, american dad, family guy and those stuff, but I wanted this type of genre like rick and morty and not just pure dark jokes.
I agree: There's a still a lack of cartoons for adults out there that isn't just... pure fart jokes, so to speak. And that always bugged me. The dark humor and it often being incoherent with the main storyline of an episode is exactly what got me to stop watching Family Guy and American Dad (I personally liked the latter a little more). Glad that the people funding animation studios are starting to acknowledge adults as a market demographic, though. We're not there yet when it comes to bridging the gap on number of shows like this versus the sheer tidal wave of dark humor stuff, but this Harley Quinn show is definitely a step in the right direction if you ask me.

There's been adult animation like this for years, DC has had several good examples like Justice League Dark. Also, remember a little show called Boondocks?
I can't even compare this show to an anime. It is just so expressly unique. It is like how Korra or Avatar don't feel like anime despite matching so many characteristics. This show feels like it comes from a different planet with the tone, pacing, character writing, and art design. It is more akin to anime than how most "adult western cartoons" are set up, but it is a lot more american in its writing, yet it isn't like Panty & Stocking in being an anime inspired by Western media. It just does its own thing.

Harley is about as good in a fight as the Joker is. Neither of them are world class fighters but both of them can clear a room full of mooks if they need to.
I can believe this because the Joker isn't actually helping his mooks kill Harley. That lowers the threat level considerably. Mr J is more of an even match with Harley as a fighter than his ego lets him admit.
I'd say Joker, Harley and each of the Robins are about equal as fighters. Who wins among the clowns or the Robins comes down to who had more time to plan the engagement.
I think it’s because the chemicals that made them go crazy also gives them minor superhuman abilities
And it doesn't make her a Mary Sue if she completely defeats all of them.
