  • In this video we get the body of the 1950 ford removed from the frame. No lift needed but we do use the crane. Rust repair coming soon.

    You can see your personality coming out in the last few videos. I ran back to watch this series and I am enjoying it.

    Good job Puddin. Learned about you from Mortske. Just bought a seriously wasted '50 Ford Tudor. Price was damn near nothing. Good part was the car had not been hacked on, and is complete with a flatty V8. Enjoying your videos.

    those car dollies are really a pretty slick solution. They're not tippy and there's nothin' in your way of getting any work done. very cool !

    That is genius, using the wheel dollies and modifying them to the body of the car! that is a great idea, I am looking to do a 66 Chevelle restore and I have the same kind of set up a 2 car Garage, and I was looking around on you tube and came across your channel, you have given me some great ideas, thanks so much for posting, and thank the Lord for Harbor Freight,

      Hey man! Thanks for watching and I’m glad to have any information that may help! After doing this the only thing I would change is to not weld the frame to the wheel dollies. I will be bolting them to the dollies next time I use them! I had to cut the welds to get my dollies back lol.

    Getting the job done. Once I used ratchet straps over the rafters to unload my 44" tool box. Was a fun shuffle of four straps and a couple 2x4's. Now i'm in a wheelchair with limited mobility. With an engine hoist, ratchet straps, come along and chains you can do some interesting things. Oh, furniture dolly's and a hand truck from Hazard Fraught help also.

    Always having the correct tool for the job causes you to loose your creativity. Its amazing what can be done with what youve got. It aint fun if it aint a little sketchy.

  • @joell439
    @joell439 Před 4 lety +4

    Really nice solution and I didn’t see anything sketchy. The only improvement I would make is add a couple tiny cross braces to the uprights. That way they can’t possibly collapse if one of those casters catches a pebble.

    All of the YOU TUBE critics have probably never worked on cars or had to DEAL with the SITUATION at hand. You did good & who cares what THEY think. Mostly "arm chair" mechanics.
