Being a fan of OC Racing is like being a fan of racing before cars were invented
Hmm, I'm having a hard time interpreting this but interesting none the less.
I believe the comments means he loves the content even though most of us can’t afford what we are seeing (I had to think about it as well but thought it was a cool phrase).
@@OCRacingalmost had a heart attack just reading that comment
Happy new year, thanks for the great content 👍
I like the open part of the wheel, especially handy if you have a dashboard on your base etc
Ordered this with the round wheel , alpha base , h shifter , and the top level e brake with the p 1000 pedals. I can’t wait to upgrade to this ecosystem
Cost him the wife, house, car and dog 😂
Great video. This was my first simagic wheel. Ultimately I sold it because it was just too large and used the funds to get a gt4 wheel. The hub is excellent though and I think the round rim is better match for the hub if you are looking for a do it all wheel
That wheel is the perfect size for me. 12.6 inches is exactly what I started with in simracing (TS-PC 488 Edition), and that wheel was a natural carry-over.
pls do a video on the gt neo + maglink when its released!
I can’t say that I agree that the packaging seems premium. No protective foam seems like a bad idea.
It's pretty great, I bought it ~1 year ago. The only issue I have now is that I removed the rotary encoder knobs on the front to swap the wheel rim, and when trying to put them back on, one of them had the locking screwhole stripped, making it pretty much impossible for the knob to hold itself. And it's a pain to fix, making me currently use it with one knob, and one sticking out rotary encoder. But a round rim ! (with poorly drilled holes for the encoders)
How did u remove the middle knobs I can’t figure out how to
@@johnwinnie2155 With an allen key, there's a screw on the side. I don't think the entire encoder can be removed though, which is what I'd have done if I could without disassembling the entire hub.
Great video! More simagic reviews please 😊
I’ll see what I can do 🫡
Nice vid man you are underrated fr fr
I am sorry, what world have we entered where 500 is alot for a wheel? Also the shifters are metal to metal contact, so with the Cube controls wheels some of the loudest out there.
Yo I got a question. I’m new to sim racing i mainly play asseta corsa. What wheel do you recommend for a $200 to $300 limit?
Are the rotary encoders removable ? So I can swap wheel rims.
when do u think the next oc sim series race will be
This wheel whas almost the reasson i bought simagic
Its looks so good😅
Can the middle big knobs be removed?
That's not a GT Pro Hub, thats a GT Pro Hub K. The K has the sticks in the middle, which limits the rims you can use on it. Unless you like drilling holes. I prefer the regular GT Pro Hub because of this.
Simcore made a super expensive copy of this wheel :)
Simagic keeps crushing it..
OC as you have mentioned in the video, and also this question is bascially to all sim racers: is it just me or does it feel weird to hold a small diameter steering wheel? I still have not upgraded from my t150 (no post-christmas sales in my country on sim racing stuff sadly 😀) and I have not yet driven a racing car, the closest I probably ever got to holding a somewhat racing wheel, or rather just sports car-like wheel was when I was driving a Passat B7 - and I cannot help but feel like that the diameter of t150 is just so small, like overall it feels weird, so I think that a bigger wheel will fell, I dunno, more natural?
More natural probably, as wheels in real cars are usually around 320mm in diameter (I think). But ultimately it does just come down to personal preference
For rally, drift and truck simulator it feels weird for me tbh. 32 is minimum for that. For everything else I could do with this size (but prefer the GT wheels)
@@Bambeakz Same. I use 35/36cm for drifting and racing with old touring cars, 40cm for ATS and 32 for older formula cars and group c
Well i like it thanks info
No problem!
Maybe when my 2 Thrustmaster T300 bases and or my Ferrari integral or my SF 1000 fail
They should last awhile eh 😃
Thanks for posting eh 🇨🇦
Let’s hope so! 🤣 happy new year eh
Thanks Bud; stay well eh! @@OCRacing
How am I supposed to drift with that wheel?
What base did you review this with ??
Simagic Alpha Mini, you can find my review on it on my channel :)
next i-racing video soon?
Matter of fact yes
Still regret buying a Simagic base tbh. Not because I don’t love the base or the wheel I own but I just want a 32-33 cm round wheel for now and then and the cheapest option is €400+ if you want a buttonbox
Other companies have at least some budget options for the wheels.
Maybe buy the GT Pro Hub (Basically what's shown in this vid) and 3rd party round wheel?
@@mArvAlcao71 Thanks for the suggestion but already looked at it and that hub alone costs €500 over here 😞
Maybe I will buy the conversion kit for my TM sparco 383 or just a 3rd party quick release with a random wheel and then build a simple buttonbox on the wheel.
It is only for some trucking and rally now and then so I think €300 max
@@BambeakzThe GTS is good wheel but it might be too small for you at 300mm.
The thing is, at least until last year Simagic tend to lean towards mid to high end type of customers. Glad they started to think about budget market by releasing the GT Neo wheel
@@mArvAlcao71 It's kinda funny to me, because the GT Neo wheel imo, looks better than their current ~$600 GT4 wheel. and will confirm soon when i buy one.
Even though they're starting to go more into budget friendlier products, they just keep out-doing themselves.
Same with their P1000 pedals as well. They seem to be better than the P2000 at just about everything, but cost less.
If you any where in Vietnam, I would sell mine (Alcantara) with $300 😂. I'm on rally now.
Not going to lie I thought it said 30% off till you said 3. LOL
I wish haha, sorry 😭
Thanks Oscar, I like it. I'm going to spend a lot of money in 24🥺😋🙋👍
Spend money to make money =)

I watch knowing well I will probably not be able to afford the product or will never buy
Well I appreciate you watching regardless 🤣🤝
anothing review lets gooo
You know it 🤣
I commented before watching the video
And liked my own comment
I repliaed before reading your comment.
I just wish you would stop saying that $100 / $200 racing wheels are " entry level " as for a lot of people those prices are expensive . I use a £60 wheel and it works fine .
They are though. That's complete entry level. It's not an insult, just a fact.
Balls
This is what you chose your first comment of 2024 to be, how does that feel?
Loud music and bad music and bad sound quality. I couldn't bear to look at this for long. So find someone else who tests this steering wheel.
Give me it (im poor 😭)

Hey OC i have a question for you, i plan on upgrating my rig for something more confortable and since my dad passed a month ago i an on a tight budget on 300$, what do you recomend? it has to be affortable and compact since i do not have to much space.
Hey Daniel, so sorry to hear that! As per rigs under $300, next level racing has a few good options and I think also offer free shipping. You can check out their website to see what catches your eye and I mostly likely have a review on it on my channel as well 😅
All the best this year :)
If you are short on space, i would say Playseat Challenge actifit or the Logitech edition, as you can fold it. Sorry for your loss!!
