The matte inner corner highlight is the one makeup tip I have learned in the past year that has changed the game for me. I never skip it now, even when I'm only wearing mascara, and it's so flattering on my 35 year old hooded eyes. I silently bless you every time.
I really appreciate you showing the look with and without lashes. I’m in the no lash camp and like to see looks without. I think lashes are beautiful but my sensitive eyes just can’t do them.
Me either- and for day to day it’s not practical for most people. If it is you go! I just have no patience for lashes and usually just ruin my look even trying lol
"Not all brands are good with shade names..." You can say NARS, it's fine
I love NARS’ shade names, at least for the most part… Most are named after geographic locations, or pop culture references, and I personally find it kind of fun & enriching to look them up, and try to find the inspiration and/or connection…
I like the thought behind shade names! It can really contribute to the theme/vibe and experience of the palette.
I was waiting for this video!! I tend to do eyeshadows in the same way you do (learnt from you), so it's always helpful when you do neutral eye looks!❤️🥰

I like shade names (especially in bigger palettes), it makes easier to remember which shades I liked and how they looked on the eyes. I have only one palette without shade names and I always have swatch it to remember what shade I'm actually looking for

omg thank you for mentioning the reasoning for your love of a matte eye. i didn’t know it was (at least partially) because it is more flattering on the aging eye. i didn’t even think of that! it’s such a great tip.
Agree- but I think shimmers are a lot nicer than they used to be on mature eyes like mine

I love the looks you did! I just ordered this palette and the brushes, can't wait to try it all out. I try to do all matte looks sometimes, but I just can't stay away from the shimmers. I don't mind shiny wrinkles, when I was young I was actually longing for the day I got some texture on my eyelids. Well, at soon to be 39 I think I'm getting there 😂

shade names are actually a huge part of the experience for me! good shade names or bad shade names can totally sway my purchasing decisions, cause a good name adds to my perception of aesthetic and helps me choose things when I'm doing my makeup. Sometimes I rename shades of I really love it but I'm unhappy with the name of, and my favorite shades all have good names accompanying them. For me, it's about adding to the experience of owning, using, and sharing my makeup: it's so much more fun to apply a lipstick called midnight rose to my friend's vampire costume than one called m01. (honestly I don't mind when Korean or Chinese brands use number names. though, because I can read the pretty korean/Mandarin names they use, so that counts for me!)

I agree completely! Shade names are so fun and add an extra touch to a palette. It's why I ended up not getting the Huda Naughty Nude despite enjoying the color story, the names just weren't for me.
OMG! Beautiful boxer!!! And could you do (or have you done) a how-to put on lashes tutorial, especially for hooded eyes? I am on the struggle bus with lashes and just end up giving up even though I'd live to wear some light lashes.
Hi Angie, I loved that you showed your look with just the mascara versus false lashes. I love how falsies look on other people but I can always feel them on my eyes and cant wait to get them off. Would love you to keep doing this in your videos and loved seeing Tesla too x
Really liked seeing the difference between the look with lashes and without as I am not a lash wearer. I think the second look was my favourite, not combo I would of thought to put together, orange and purple but looked stunning. Also that lip product was beautiful 😻

I appreciate the ability to see how the look turned out without the lashes on bc I am on team "no lashes" and just appreciate the way the eye looks with makeup and mascara:) of course still gorgeous with lashes too but I just wanted to say thank you for that foresight to allow the audience to see it both ways at the same time, I really liked being able to see them side by side and just see the difference that the lashes make! Every time you moved the red brush around your eyes I kept seeing it applied to the lid (as a shade of the palette) and I was like « YES purple and red !! » but also confused because there’s no bright red in the palette 😅
So beautiful! Id love to see another look with this, maybe playing with the darker mauvy and purple shades. Would love to see you use the imaginary & glass eyes 😍🙌 I know whatever you create will be stunning!
I really like this palette, I actually got it for my daughter, especially w the dark mattes it's such a nice addition for her small collection, but I've used it twice. Such an easy formula to use, and the shimmers are quite pretty. But, am I only one that thinks the light matte row is a little chalky? Swatched, and on the eye? Even on my fair skintone?
It looks so ashy! As someone with dark skin there aren't enough usable shades to justify the price for me. It's been a long time since I've seen a palette where most of the shades would be unusable for me.

I love orange and purple eyeshadow! Great look. I had a palette in that color story years ago that I loved. The green look was also 👍👍👍. I want to try blend bunny this year but am holding out for a smaller palette. Hope they deliver!
