I love that it's NOT limited edition. I was supposed to be on a no-buy in January (except that I panic bought a bh cosmetics palette ahem) and a low-buy until summer and I'm not feeling like committing to a transatlantic order during a low-buy. I might pull the trigger down the line, as it is very beautiful!

@@lisamoss7632 I actually had two bh palettes that I wanted to buy come February, but Smitten in Switzerland sold out from BeautyBay a day or two after I put it on my wishlist, and it was also sold out from the German site, and on the US site it's nowhere to be found. Bh Germany said they're not restocking it as it looks now (I guess they can't afford it...). I'm really beating myself up over not getting it from BeautyBay when I had the chance ... but I don't currently have an income. But after Smitten in Switzerland disappeared from the face of the earth I panic bought Summer in St Tropez. Not letting it slip out of my reach!!!

When you put that blue shimmer on the first look- wow. The second look was very pretty the way you did it. Very spring. Couldn’t hear any background besides some video type sound at end.
Haunted Europe is the most beautiful and unique themed eyeshadow palette. Imo, Nomad keeps getting better and better!!!! Thank you for doing these 2 looks… i need some inspiration 💙💙💙💙
The National Parks palette blew me away, not just with the shades and the quality but with the packaging and presentation. It’s indie makeup but with bougie, boutique treatment of its customers 🙂 This new palette looks too cool-toned for me but I’m tempted to get it anyway because I want to support them.

I was tempted to buy this and also wanted to support the brand but i realised i can dupe the vibes very easily from the palettes i already own and i also recently bought a few juvias place quad so i want to enjoy them before a made a new purchase
I love Nomad cosmetics. I'm trying to talk myself out of new releases this year and have a low buy year......not sure it's going to go over real well when Nomad keeps making the most beautiful things.
I need to work more with the Nomad palettes I have because I don't know that I always love their formulas? But I maybe just haven't spent enough time with them. You made me want this palette! It's so gorgeous with the packaging and the color story, and your looks were inspiring
I am not a fan of their mattes, at all. Or, at least their older mattes, anyway. They do NOT build on each other. You can absolutely do a "one matte crease and a shimmer on the lid" kind of look, but anything slightly more complex, and they tend to become VERY difficult to work with.
It's like they're too finely milled and powdery to stick to each other, or something? It's bizarre.
I haven't tried any of their newer mattes, though. I disliked the mattes so much that I don't really want to take another chance.
I think you nailed the sound. So much better than the last time I checked in. Love the colors in this collection. Not that it matters to anyone, but Whistler is only about 250 miles north of me. ;-)
I love the new sound. It's less echoy and more clear. And these two look! Especially the second one, so so pretty. You never disappoint with colorful eye looks! Love it!
My laptop absolutely hates the new sound setting. It sounds muffled and I heard static noises.

I definitely prefer the second looks video settings Angie!! The audio sounds sharper. I really like the colour story of this palette and I’m not. Big fan on blue eyeshadow on me🤣 but I would love to try nomad xx

I loved the look Battybean did with this palette because is a complete different style, I too always end up doing the same look with different eyeshadows.
Nomad's colour stories are right up my alley. I own three palettes from them now (Orient Express, Iceland Fire&Ice and Haunted Europe) and they're all so good! Definitely gonna get this one, it's similar to the Wilderness palette by BeautyBay, but icier and without the shades I personally don't care for.
I love how the second eye look came out 🥰 they were both gorgeous looks. Your sound and settings definitely improved with the second eye look as well. I always love the personal touches that come with Nomad orders. And yay for an affiliate code!

That 2nd look is so beautiful and unique, I went think to put those colors together and when you 1st started applying that brick red I was like Angie what are you doing, but in the end it's stunning and I want to recreate it
I like the lighting in the 2nd look best because it's brighter. I like the color story of this palette and both looks were cute.

I love putting a different shade on the inner crease! It is my current favorite "go to". Also, that blue look was stunning! I would like this palette but I just sprang for Blend Bunny's surge and dollhouse, so it'll be a bit before I will treat myself again 😅 I am glad it isn't limited edition!

I think the new room has ended up making your eye color pop more than the darker walls in the old beauty room. And if I had to pick, I prefer the sound in the first settings more, but I do get used to the sound settings in the updated one so it isn't bad at all. (Across you last week of videos)
Overall, I have found the Nomad matte formula really easy to work with. Almost -too- easy that I am done with my matte work way faster than I expect that it surprises me! The metallic shimmers (they seemed to make fewer toppers now) are so pretty too, they are wonderfully impactful. I got the American Parks very recently, so Whistler is going to have to wait a little while!

i'm not sure if you'd agree, but i think your new lighting setup (and maybe new camera? hard to tell) is fantastic and a big improvement over what you had before. this brighter light makes your face look less "flat" (low contrast) and it's easier now to see textures and tonal differences in the eyeshadows imo. you look gorgeous!
