UPDATE: Shopify has now released my funds so like I said, all orders from the launch weekend will go out before the end of the week, and remaining orders will go out in the beginning of next week. 🧡💛
ONG what a nightmare issue! So sorry Shopify being a pain. Like you suggested, They should have verified this information well prior to taking your 1st payment.
***That is why you always start with a few orders online to work out the details before a big release, you always need a few order to see how things work and that you go through the whole process before people start ordering in masses and it is too late for you to correct or change. I am sorry that happened to you but I hope other people see this message so they prepare themselves when you have a business, it is 101 in the business world to test everything before going live to actual costumers.

So that's why I was surprised when they pulled this one week later haha (also of course I would never launch something I hadn't tried it, I honestly am surprised you think I'd do that haha)"

And like I said, while I think your name definitely has value as far as commerce goes, I also think naming it after yourself is just so overplayed and the “easy” approach. I’m so sorry to hear about the negative experiences! I ordered my brushes early on launch day and have been incredibly impressed with the speed in filly and shipping my order. I try to support small business whenever I can and know that their processes tend to be slightly slower than larger companies, I am fine with waiting the extra few days or weeks knowing that I will be receiving a better product in the end! Thank you for your bravery in starting this new venture! I admire you!

I can definitely appreciate how hard it can be to run a 1 person business online. Mine is nowhere near your size, I just sell the occasional set of dice on Etsy, but it's a similar situation where funds might not get transferred to you for a couple of weeks after the orders were made. But that little hit of joy when you make a sale and know that someone is going to love what you spent time making is worth it, and I hope you enjoy every moment of that 🔥
Luckily, eyeshadow brushes are not insulin and everyone will survive. No one will be harmed in this delayed shipping. LOL I’m excited to get my brushes when you are able to get the out. I love the name singe. Very unique and very you.

As I was watching you apply your lipstick I thought to myself, I really like that her face isn’t all fake, her cheeks aren’t bulging from filler injections, and her lips aren’t ready to explode from too much lip filler. I know you felt that this eye look was off brand, but I think it’s stunning! I loved the colors in this palette, but I worried it was too much bold color for me to get much use out of. Your look here is a great option for those of us intimidated by color.
I am German and the way you pronounced "Schönbrunn" the first time was actually pretty spot on! The "sch" is pronouned like the "sh" in shake, for example :) I'ts a castle in Vienna, one of the biggest or maybe actually the biggest one in Austria ☺And thank you so much for giving so many insights into your brand and the whole process, it's super interesting!
You have to opt for Shopify to charge the customer for shipping otherwise you pay for every label.

Totally understand and can’t wait to try the brushes. I’ve also experienced the same issue with funds being withheld but still needing to ship first before they release the funds. A lot of times I wouldn’t even get the money until the shipments were delivered.
