My father passed away a long time ago. i used to pray to hindu gods, but i don't know why i begged jesus, and later on, he started guiding me it's been 8 years since i kept losing my way, and he kept comming to me, i am hoping i can get baptised this year and fully give my life to him. You should stick to Hinduism. It's a thousand times better than Christianity as it doesn't preach that anyone who doesn't follow its teachings will burn in hell for eternity
That’s great that you’re thinking of taking the next step! But I hope you know that baptism is not what gets you saved, when you believe Jesus died to rescue you from your sins and trust that he is the Lord of your life, you are saved and guaranteed for eternity

It is him alone who is the source of eternal salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 “for it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one may boast” Does it mention baptism here? If we rely on baptism to get us saved, it means that what Jesus did is not enough.

Many people will enter eternity not know Him but Jesus is actually real and its so amazing to get to know Him if you are reading this then just know that God cares about you more than you think and its not about religion its about having a relationship with Him because He loves you so so much

Focus on being aware. His presence is not a blatant “hello” from the clouds, it is the little blessings you receive daily or the opportunity to bless others. It’s having the ability to speak with Him from anywhere at anytime. Being thankful you’ve woken up that day and have been given another day to reserve your seat with Him in Heaven. Seeking Him is simply living your life in the way He has commanded us and always remaining in contact with Him. He will show Himself, but you have to be able to recognize it.

I’ve had a similar situation where at the night I came to know the LORD it was the same night I had a bad break up immediately after that caught me by surprise, I’m not saying it’s similar to losing a mother, what I do know is circumstance does not dictate your proximity to the Lord Jesus Christ He walks with us through the storms
