    Grischuk salió muy mal de la apertura pero puso sus caballos en las mejores casillas y aguantó el chaparrón, increíble...

      Así se juega esa posición de negras. No creo que hayan estado peor en ningún momento

    8:05 was when the critical mistake happened but Andreikin got distracted by Grischuk aswell as the arbiter.. but his position needed clinical precision, impossible under such time pressure

    Hey i dont know why he resign?? Did he resign?? If he would sacrifice his knight for pawn He would ended with endgame king-knight-bishop vs king.. Its very very hard endgame especially when u have 10sec. Am I missing something?

  • @acrazypunkrocker
    @acrazypunkrocker Před 11 lety

    At 8:27 the best play is 1... Bxd4 ... The bishop of Andreikin can not be moved so, even if the King moves to put the bishop out of the pin, Grischuk would capture the Bishop winning two pieces, and if King takes, e8=Q and the game is over.

  • @chrism-kx3tt
    @chrism-kx3tt Před 11 lety

    you are right, but i think it would not have been easy to get into position to sac the knight for the pawn, because the black king was much closer to the h pawn than the white king. The black king just has to step into the f file and there is no way the knight can come close to the pawn without being captured or being deflected by the other minor pieces. Besides, it is no very polite to try to get a draw on time if you have an obviously lost position.

  • @MateusBernardodeMelloFranco

    At the end, the time reward to Andreikin. Is that correct?

    • @danielrabbers508
      @danielrabbers508 Před 8 lety

      +Mateus Bernardo de Mello Franco No, because there is increment grischuck hardly can lose on time. and Andreikin has insufficient material to win so he resigned.

    6:10 not sure but ef is probably fatal mistake. with two strong pawns in the centre Grischuk easily changed his position from defensive to nearly winning.

    what took him so long? why not just Bxd5 immidietly?

      Amit Chessfan c takes d5 with a strong centre and the knight on D3 still under attack. The the knights come to support the advance of the pawns on C D E files. How about that reason? How can we question GM? do we really think that we can find a better move? This videos are to watch and learn and not to air out there how great we are and how naive GM can be. I can see a better move than a GM. Well done you

    • @SongsForBoredTimes
      @SongsForBoredTimes Před 9 lety

      Mr .Rodriguez Im not saying Im better than any GM, I am asking why my move is bad, I know it is bad, otherwise the GM would have played it. and I disagree about what you have said, I think that the pawn on d5 is a weaknes after Nf4 for example..

    • @poprockssuck87

      +Amit Chessfan No, it's because exd3+, after which black wins a piece with cxd5.

    he won becouse he had a pown, night bishop vs knight takes more than 50 moves to mate so andreikin could clame a draw after 50 moves. but after like10 moves grischuk would have a queen.

    • @cramie10
      @cramie10 Před 9 lety

    The knight is dominated by the bishop. So with the king cut off the h-pawn can run down the board and nothing in the world can stop it! (at least nothing on the board that is :p)
