When my right eye grew back, it came back green, of course, I'm not human.
it's based off of the battlefield games, primarily bf4 there are innumerable references to the game from the music to the squad dynamic to the gear, the tank sabotage, the chopper snipe, just the overall aesthetic. this is the best video game adaptation i've ever seen. well done
Actually based off of bad company 2.
@@AverageJoeGaming2013 Actually is based off btf3, bad company 2 gold rush mode and BTF4 all together.
@@jackhammertwo1 yeah ik i fixed it. i meant the main influence was bf4

Absolutely amazing. Gotta say Steven Ogg is honestly the best bad guy that you can have in the role. Gotta say I don't know if it was a joke, reference or not, but the soldiers saying they were Canadians was pretty funny to me, Steven being Canadian.
In the first episode, the soldiers are told that their operations are being officially disavowed. The CO specifically states that if they run into trouble, they are shit out of luck and will get no back up, and that they are canadians.
@@hisnitch I mean but it can still be a reference never the less.
Honestly, this is really well produced. It looks like a Hollywood film.
Amazeballs
looks like? wait it ins't?
asdfghjkl I was going to bring that up. But everything else, cinematography, acting, etc. is extremely up to par. So I wouldn’t categorize it as a “c class movie.” I’d say it is actually more in the A- range, including the vfx.
@asdfghjkl dude, chill the fk up. I know people love being cinema critics and all that stuff on the internet. But you're just being an asshole that over think stuff.
If a fucking movie/series like this with a lower Budget than the Hollywood productions can look this good and have practically a lot of fucking stuff even some Hollywood movies can't achieve, then it is totally reasonable to classify Rush into A-range kind of stuff.
@@marioargaez2285 You can't give a movie a higher rating because it has a lower budget. Shit is still shit even if it was produced with a budget of 3 strings and paperclip.

I just binge-watched this whole series and damn this has cured some boredom throughout quarantine.
Alright, the positives: really good writing on both story and dialogue, exicting plot that never really slips into cliches that it's riffing on, believable character arcs, good performances all round, solid casting. The negatives: You did go into cliche teritory with a few character traits, like the killing off the guy who talks about his family, or the supermodel with perfect make-up pretending to be a soldier in a middle of a war zone. Also, with such good story and high production values, it really sticks out if the CGI is not up to Hollywood standards in every frame. And some of it (gold melting in the first vault for example) still isn't. Another thing is that the story is set in a Russian-speaking country, and there is very little to convey that until the last episode: none of the grafitti are in cyrilics and weapons (except for the tank) all looks american. Lastly, the action - your trained soliders and mercenaries sometimes just Rambo it, shooting at crowds of enemies while standing up in full view. I'm no soldier, but I'm pretty sure your friends from the Black Rifle company would have a few things to say about that. All in all, it's fun and enjoyable, 11/10 by youtube webseries standards. If it was a TV movie I'd give it a 9/10. Please give us more.
This was made a very long time ago on a different website so you have to give them a break..
I'd say this comment accurately conveys my issues over all with the piece, but by no means is it bad. I really enjoyed the plot and the avoidance of cliches aside from the few stated above. I was really shocked but happy that the entire "we were tortured in the desert" scene was avoided due to it being a classic and dull cliche war aesthetic. Overall Highly enjoyed the series and overall Amazed at the FX aside from a few small details which swiftly get written off due to the immaculate script. It is my understanding that this is a bit dated in terms of your creations lately and if that's true i'd say the team has outdone themselves with this project!
corridor jearted this
Okay can you make something better than this please show us.
i personally believe that if the current corridor crew were to remake this, the piece would be perfect
Hehe on 7:42 you guys flipped the shot (her eye patch is suddenly on the left eye)

You never know in movies. Everything's possible.
10:40 - very cinematic! The whole clip is great, but I love that “it’s the rush” part, and then the twist right after that is sooo awesome
You did an amazing job with that series, I really love it! Since it got those sweet Battlefield vibes: As a Battlefield player it was kinda funny watching the tank fight, since the guy would have been dead the very second the tank noticed him (relentless of that wall). I also loved how the 4 survivors of the squad matched up with the BF combat roles! Great work, I’m really looking forward to a continuation!
Wow... I just watched the whole series in one day...
well it is only, 1 h and 30 mins so like yeah who didn't
I watched this episode in only 16:50
2:39 If you listen _really_ closely, you can hear a faint Wilhelm scream.
Good find. Almost an Easter egg there...
I noticed that and can only imagine that putting that in was one of the first things that came up in their planning.
It would've never been a action film without the willhelm scream.
@@_Cleveland_ The Willhelm scream is always without doubt the BEST movie scream for War movies and TV Shows.
10:38 should have cut to the close up a frame before so it matches with the last shot noise
This is genuinely one of my favorite movies ever. I LOVE the story and am so glad you were able to repupload it!!
This was great, guys! I don't know these actors by name but they were all terrific; I particularly liked the evil guy, the mean-turned-comrade commander and the one-eyed sniper (I'd def play her character in a game if I had the chance). Was this developed as a prelude to a game or as a one-shot? It felt very much like a play through of a game (without all the saves and reloading). It's too bad Hollywood doesn't hire you two to do their video game adaptations; you have the feeling of these things absolutely down pat! It was also fun to see how far you've come in technology even in the few short years since you've made this. Well done!
The bad guy is Stephen ogg a.k.a the voice of Trever Phillips from GTA 5
Steven Ogg played the big bad, you may recognize him as Trevor from Grand Theft Auto V
Yeah,he was in "the walking dead " right?
@mukund p live action fortnite/PUBG? I don't think I see any dancing teddy bear people and bullet-blocking frying pans...
This was done as promotion for a game called battlefront. I dont tbink the story is the same but the game revolves around 4 person squads and traditionally they have 4 classes that were represented by the different characters.
A standard brick of gold is 27.4 lbs, yet they are flailing them around like hacky sacks.
These are like 4 times the size (actually, volume) of a standard brick.

8:04 me every time I play pubg.
Films 2027 try fortnite this is just a suggestion since u play pubg
@@Yoshi-kk2du Just cause it's a battle Royale doesn't mean it's remotely close to why people play it. I played pubg because of the gunplay and the game flow. Fortnite plays completely different and the gunplay is meh to me building is more of a priority then aiming.
Try tarkov if you enjoy a more realistic approach, Warzone for a faster paced Pubg, and apex if you want fluid movement and fun gunplay.
@@Kurruptedwolf what about call of duty
@@imofficiallyinsane2312 I mentioned warzone, call of duty will never be what pubg was too me. It's a fun game but it never made me shake or pump me up when I won. Nor does sniping feel the same. Cods fun if you want to run around and shoot people otherthan that I personally only play the rebirth mode or cold war simply because Cods weapon choice is limited to the meta which Is usually 1-3 guns out of the arsenal and it's a laser beam simulator. The gun play is Mediocre but still fun, movement is decent (love cold wars movement reminds me of bo3s) but I'd rather play Apex movement is incredibly fun as is the gunplay and gunfights. A single fight can last the whole game and isn't based on the better gun, it requires movement, aim, knowledge, repositioning, and tactical plays due to legends abilities all in a single fight that can last 15 seconds -10 minutes with multiple other squads.

I was never able to see Rush here in germany because of country-restrictions on go90. Finally I can, and I must say, for how "old" it is we can clearly see that you guys evolved over the years. It was a bliss to finally watch this. Also there is a continuity error in one of the first scenes in Part 1. The balcony smoking scene with James and the President. They are on the balcony smoking and on the wideshot they are not. Quite funny to notice that. I credit you guys for having broken me with all the VFX-Artists react breakdowns.

I watched the first episode, and here I am, in a blink. Loved every bit of it.
This is how you get 5-times more wiews from 1 film.
Big brain time
I'm curious if that's actually how it works. Because if you think about it, everyone who would've watched an actual movie would've watched these episodes. So did they really GAIN views, or did they just spread out the views? While writing this comment I figured if 5 million people watched the movie, 5 million people would watch each episode resulting in like 25 million views. My apologies, you are correct.
@@Fragaming25 this is actually an old thing they did, they created it for some other platform and just now got the copyright for it and released it for free on youtube, it was always a 5 part series
Although it gets you more views, it’s the same amount of watch time.

I love the story and plot twist(s) and how it all flowered together into one big sequence that was easy to understand but at the same time, left the viewers with questions and wanting more. Bravo, Corrido crew, bravo. A real accomplishment. Better than a lot of the stuff I see advertised on Netflix. Amazing work.
Most people not realize how heavy gold is. A liter gold weighs about 19 Kilos. So any of those gold bars (which are bout a liter in volume I'd estimate) they put so casually in those bags weighs roughly 20 kilos (44 pounds). The bags they are holding with one hand may contain ... lets say 10 bars. That would be 200 kilos (over 440 pounds).
And in that rack I count roughly 7x11x2x16 = 2465 bars. That would be almost 50 tons. I see some problems with the stability of that flimsy rack.
I really enjoyed! Even the acting was better than some other films/series.
