Oh nice detail with Avery using her left eye but still operating the gun right handed. Since the cheek rest on the stock is adjustable and can be lowered for the change in eye position this would probably make the most sense. Also nice detail to use the scarf to differentiate between Tim and Miller
I think the plot improved a whole lot in this one. Really like how the time skip changed the mood of the series.

Skyler Bulford I believe there are different types of breach charges in Form of tubes. Just like say, a bullet, the explosion only comes out on one end. That end is preferabely stuck to the lock/door. It doesnt really create a big explosion, but rather a fistsized hole.

Ummmmmm.
You guys have done an amazing job with this.
But Every person who shoots a rifle knows not to lean over the stock to shoot with the opposite eye.
The recoil can (and usually does) cause the scope to rock back and smack the shooter on the bridge of the nose.
If you can't shoot with your right eye, you switch shoulders and shoot with the left.
Kendalon only if it isn’t positioned in the shoulder correctly and if you don’t have the sight set too far back (which you shouldn’t). Some people are right handed but left eye dominant, Hence this position as you don’t want to fire with the less dominant hand, and with a right handed weapon in the wrong shoulder. I know many that fire like this and have a 10cm grouping at 100m with an iron sight. And providing you have a decent sight and set correctly you shouldn’t be putting your eye too close to the sight anyway - thats bad practice. Also some rifles bolts and ejection openings are on the right side, so firing left handed causes carbon to go into your eyes or you risk the bolt hitting you in the face (more painful than a rocking sight) seen that on an AK and SA80 - they’re right handed weapons. Even the possibility of an obstructed ejected round hitting you in the face.

You realize that the recoil alone will make this much more difficult than it needs to be while trying to lean over the rifle. You would need to stop and make sure you are still lined up because ever shot would almost certainly require you to adjust yourself to get the sights lined back up.
You would also need to raise the sights in order to get a proper sight anyway. Which would still put your face in the way of a recoiling set of sights.
Firing right handed while trying to look through the scope with your left eye is dangerous. Anyone who does it takes a risk of having their nose broken or other facial injuries.
Especially with a "50 cal" which is what she was using. Even seated properly in the shoulder there is a significant amount of recoil.
When I was taught to shoot, you don't shoot with your dominant hand, you shoot with your dominant eye. They make ejector covers to force the brass downward and away from the face of people who shoot from the left side.
Also you need to be a couple inches from the sights in order to properly see through them.
So sorry to say, I don't believe a word you are saying.
Keep in mind... they had a budget for this movie including actors
Kendalon i have been cross eye dominant for 15 years and never once hit my nose or bridge - Not even close. That includes from using various pistols and rifles including .338 to .50. You don’t move your head any closer using your cross eye, you only slightly tilt your head to the side and angle forward - the nose is no closer than a dominant dominance eye. The only thing you lose its peripheral vision.
When the stock is positioned correctly your body moves with the majority of the recoil so the recoiling of the rifle will not cause the sights to hit your face - this happens when people are not taught to hold the rifle correctly or when someone who doesn’t understand cross eye dominance and still tries to teach it.
Clearly you’re not cross dominant and only making assumptions about how this works. Most advice about cross dominance comes from those that aren’t and simply say “train your other hand or close your dominant eye” which is a lazy method since it’s something they haven’t had to do themselves, and since most people cannot train a non-dominant hand to become dominant they only manage to train it to become usable - still not accurate.
And you were not taught correctly, as most instructors who tell you to train your non-dominant eye or train with your non-dominant hand - which is not practical for most with cross dominance or firing right handed weapons- its just lazy and incompetent instruction.
You cannot get ejector covers for all right handed weapons. And even then its not about the brass. Its about the carbon! Which causes eye irritation and can be carcinogenic which an ejector cover doesn’t stop!
And needing to keep your eye a couple inches away is exactly why you don’t hit your nose! Unless you use an SUSAT or ACOG where your eye needs to be positioned almost on-top of the sight and could hit your face using either dominance if not manipulated correctly. These are the only sights I’ve had difficulty getting sight alignment and sight pictures with - but still never hit my face.
Either you’ve only been told hitting your face is an issue by non cross eye firers or the cross eye firers you met that had this issue haven’t been taught properly. 15-years firing on operations and on ranges and nearly every month and never once been close to a scratch, that includes all other cross dominant firers that i know which is around 20% of us.
I spent a bit of time looking up your cross eye dominant situation.
Everything I found said that with long guns you need to learn to shoot with your dominant eye not hand. So stock seated on your left with left eye dominant. Even the one video I have seen about shooting with the dominant hand and not eye was saying to keep both eyes open with red dots or reflex type sights like an ACOG, but when using a scope you close your dominant eye and shoot with the dominant side not eye.
I don't know much and couldn't find much about shooting with a pistol cross dominant, but I could image the best way to solve that would be to keep both your eyes open. Or turn your head slightly, because a pistol is usually feet away from your head.
I can site with either eye, so no I don't understand your "pain."
You went from "I have known people who are right handed and have no problems" and went to " you are cross dominant".
The only efficient way to shoot "cross dominant" would be to get an off set mounting rail and put a sit of to the side so you can look through it safely.
