- Lake Lucerne (German: Vierwaldstättersee, literally "Lake of the four forested settlements" is a lake in central Switzerland and the fourth largest in the country.
The lake has a complicated shape, with several sharp bends and four arms.
Weggis is located in a bulge named after the place (Weggiser basin) of Lake Lucerne at the south-west foot of the Rigi. The place has a particularly mild climate and is known for the thriving of numerous southern plants (including chestnut trees, palm trees, grapes and orchids).
Vitznau is located on the shore of Lake Lucerne on a bulge in the Weggiser basin - and at the same time at the southern foot of the Rigi. Because of this sheltered location, the community has an exceptionally mild climate, where even vines and palm trees thrive.
The scenery was shot in the afternoon sun at the end of winter.

Excellent video my friend. This is one of your best videos so far in my opinion.
A very strong opening with the lift-off shot with the church, the lake and snowy mountains in the horizon.
Followed by some nice more close-up shots (the person (you?) on the bench, soft waves on the lake etc) - everything contributing to the feeling of "being there", I like it my friend. ^^
Great work on the visuals as well the music - well done Shiso.

Spring is finally here and there are more opportunities to go outside again. I'm not sitting on the bench. Alfred Hitchcock appears briefly in his films - I haven't tried that yet...hahaha.

yes I will consider that. in very old films I already appeared as a shadow or in window mirrors. haha. let's see what the future holds for possibilities...
I pray every single day, hour and minute, that God will protect this piece of land, this piece of paradise from being destroyed by climate change. Because the future is already so grim I cannot even bear to look.

Drive from Isleten UR to Isenthal UR. The views will be absolutely stunning. Pretty much on the opposite side of Vitznau and Weggis also on Lake of Lucerne.
