Thank you, Dr. Berg! It's amazing how so many health issues are related to the kinds of food we eat! My 21 year old son who is very fit experiences neck pain for no particular reason, but he eats peanut butter and nuts and sometimes consumes protein shakes made with soy....since cutting down on the peanut butter and soy, he's had no more neck pain...!!

The trigger point therapy workbook by Clair Davies is fantastic. Referred pain is not just related to what you eat. It may be referred pain because of other muscles. I used to not be able to sit on planes without severe pain in my hamstrings because of referred pain in my glutes. A folding chair a baseball and that workbook helped me figure out referral spots and after a week or so of constantly hitting the trigger points they released and no more referred pain. It could be diet related so not trying at all to poo poo on this vid; just saying that referred pain is not just diet related, seriously.... before you consider surgery spend 30 bucks on a book and a softball or tennis ball and work out trigger points that are referring pain.

Dr Berg or anyone whose had a neck fusion, please help. I was hurt on the job and suffered a neck and back injury. First question the surgeon whose doing my surgery on the c3 and c4 (throat area of neck) said it’s a “small surgery” in which he will put in a spacer and some type of other metal device to do a fusion. I don’t know how he can say it’s small. To me this is a huge and life changing event. So I think it’s a huge surgery. Has anyone whose had a neck fusion, had issues as far as limited to turn neck left to right or up and down without any complications? The other herniated disk on the lower part of neck he said he will not do anything at this time? Why not just fix them all?
Also I have had 2 lower back surgeries in the past so it’s a preexisting condition. They have gone as far as therapy and epidurals which have never worked for me. But the dr said he’s not keen on doing surgery on my back and said if the epidural doesn’t work he will put me on meds and therapy so in essence we have already been down this road so why is he going in reverse again and not wanting to do surgery on my herniated disk in the middle of my back and my lower left and right herniated disks? When he compares the MRIs of both backs he said there’s “ little difference” but isn’t even a little difference saying yes the work injury caused more damage but work insurance isnt taking responsibility because it’s a preexisting condition? Seems like they don’t want to take accountability for my back at all? But there has to be video of the incident with all the cameras in the warehouse and by giving me therapy and meds tells me that is them taking ownership so why isn’t the doctor willing to say okay we’re going to do surgery. End of discussion. Can my workmen’s comp lawyer fight them on it if they don’t do the surgery. What happens if I end up in a worse situation and the discs get worse? I know it’s a lot but wanted peoples or professional advice. Thank you

I think he is doing great job by motivating people to have a healthy life by shifting their self to healthy diet!
In india people have raw papaya fruit and apple . in vegetables are all of gourd family and green moong split lentils and pure ghee (clarified butter).
    And tea
Consume all theses things for two month and you don't have any gallbladder and liver issue
Do not consume any thing accept these foods no dairy for several months after two month you can add all food dairy meat and vegetables gradually into your diet you will notice amazing changes in your health with high hemoglobin and specially liver health.

You might be right for some people not for me. I don’t consume sugar at all. I don’t consume anything prepackaged at all. I have a protein which is either chicken fish or bacon or an egg with my vegetables. However I did have belly bloat huge absolutely huge I look like I was 10 months pregnant. And both sides of my neck hurt badly. I don’t do any gluten dairy it’s just vegetables and protein. What did I eat yesterday I had string beans and chicken. But you’re right when I eat my belly bloat I know I have a fatty liver so I’ve been doing keto for over three weeks. However, how I ate before wasn’t much different from what I’m eating now except I’m down to one meal a day. So explain that!

Neck pain may be caused by what you eat. But most often, it's high inflammation in the body that causes it.
Usually starts at lower back, then to the neck when inflammation elevates.
Diabetics may suffer with these symptoms more frequently.

I've been on a keto diet for more than 2 months now and a couple weeks ago, I started noticing numbness in both my lower legs and pain in the lower right part of my neck. At first, I thought it was just because of how I position myself to sleep but I've always slept like that in years. I wonder why I'm feeling it now when I'm already on keto. I am aware that I have a fatty liver though so this might be causing the pain however I don't know why I started feeling numbness on my legs. I also have to mention that (I think) I have RLS as I have suffered from it for several years now and actually tried treating it before with electrical things (I don't know what they're called anymore) but basically didn't work.

Cleaning up the diet can and does work wonders - it's been 3 years since I purchased headache tablets for headaches -
They were frequent almost daily and bad ones too, my late mother suffered terrible migraines too, sure I get a stress headache or low grade ones once in a while but not enough to buy tablets for-
A final point I may add is that I almost exclusively now avoid all drinking (apart a few sips of water ) in the hour and a half before and after meals, perhaps that's having a effect too.

I’ve suffered with gut issues for as long as I can remember, and now recently have developed eczema on my face (wonderful); I followed a keto diet last year and it did wonders foe my gut, however my face exploded, which seems counterintuitive to me.
If anyone has any insights into this, I’d be very grateful😊
