Eden as a Mountain-Temple

It may sound strange to think of Eden as a Mountain-Temple, but this is vital to recognize in order to trace the larger theme of God's holy presence throughout the Bible. All of biblical history is bound up with God's dwelling with his people on four mountains, the last being the new creation itself. Dr. Benjamin Gladd makes a case for Eden as original the holy of holies on earth where Adam served as a priest-king.
