  • Apologies for not posting a video last week. First time in over a year I wasn't able to. But it gave me some time to catch up on the boring things so we can see these cars back in action!

Mercedes supplies the gasket as a replacement price, there was no need to change everything. I only replaced the o-ring

Last year I had that steeringlock issue. It's criminal how Mercedes has mounted this dangerous gizmo. I was lucky to have it fixed for €750. The stealership would have set me back at least €3000.

They go out at the worst times and even the new replacements fail too. Don’t need it. Delete itđŸ‘ŒđŸ€ŁâœŒïž

@@RicerBenzif, as you've got yours now, not attached as a lock, but the lock activates and fails in the lock position, are you still available to start and drive? Won't the sensors show that the steering lock is activated even though yours is no longer a physical lock?

W205 Today I tackled this as it would appear I had coolant leaking from underneath the car and warning on dashboard and when you looked around by the fuel filter housing and the egr cooler there was a build up clearly showing however I've fitted the new redesigned model can only fit two bolts as isn't slots for all three. However I took it for a test drive after refilling with coolant and now it appears the dashboard warning has came back on yet again?
Any ideas or suggestions to what's happening?

I got my W204 for about 3000km now. Had to replace the oil cooler. Decided to go for a OEM part as I saw on your videos that the Goldwagen one had issues after only 1 year (about 5k with labour). My ESL also broke and was crazy expensive to fix. They did not replace it, but they put in a chip to program that makes the car ignore it (12k). Quite a lot of money and I have had the car for only about 7 months now. I am a bit allergic of it now and thinking of selling. What other major ballsups can I expect? DO you think I should sell? Its a 2010 on 183 000 km now. It doesnt seem to be too difficult to replace the diesel filter housing, but if the leak was on the water pump I will be in over my head.

I feel you manđŸ€ŁEvery time something goes south on it I want to sell it too. But
they drive soooo good and I think all cars have their issues. I’m lucky to save money on labor and the parts are surprisingly inexpensive.
The thing is they aren’t worth much and to get a car that has the “luxury” and comfort of these you would have to spend more than you’ll get for it. Most common issues with these I heard is the cooling system. Plastic pipes going bad etc. So I’ll say just keep an eye on than as I do.
      Best of luck✌

Think I shall do this delete on my 2014 C350 CDI , tell me what was your millage ? And also who did your tune? Found out the other day that on my car (stage 3 boltons) the emissions weren't deleted properly, car tried regenerating . And also the tune on the car was a modified copy and paste off a sprinter . Also found resistors by the boost pressure and fp , which is why it felt more "powerful" and the dyno run was abit bumpy . I removed the rubbish resistor fake stuff. Now I need a proper tune. The mapping on the car is for the sprinter which is wrong and now the car feels like a quickish sprinter (my 0-100 is down) , I saw a company specializing on diesel cars specifically Diesel bimmers and mercs , they're checking out what can be done to get the most out of my car (not physco as I daily it but still physco enough). Tell me (stage2 4500 and stage 3 5500) are these good prices? The guy said he'd work a better price if possible (he said he'll let me know the estimate power numbers between the 2 stages) but he said a stock car with just downpipe and egr deleted and mufflers on an e350 cdi 2014 hit 240kw and 700nm. I'm running a larger hybrid turbo accompanied by many other boltons so hopefully it'll showđŸ™đŸ». Funny thing is my car was hitting low mid 5s 0-100 with the fake tune resistor hack up 😂 and now with the hack up resistors just the wrong map (meant for a sprinter it's fallen hard into the mid 6sec to 7) which is pathetic below stock. Stock I hit a 0-100 5.9/ 6.2 sec easily, and my gearbox is confused as he'll up shift down shift because it expects more power. Lesson learnt, don't trust a tuner because they have a big company or built a fast non merc car , the non merc car should've been a đŸš© I feel stupid lol it wasn't even a bimmer.😂 Dude is like oh its past warranty bla bla , but screw it he can deal with Karma.😂

Dayum man. Your setup sounds insane! Like they say you can build with the most bad ass parts but your tuner makes everything come together. The guy I use is super cool and really helpful. Torque Tuning Klerksdorp. Highly recommend himđŸ’Ș
      Goodluck!
