- After many years of strapping my Kriega US20 and Kriega US30 on top of the seat of my Monster 620, and a few months of doing the same on my Monster 937 it was time to do it properly right. Enter Hepco & Becker. That's one exciting thing about new bikes - all the cool new parts are available and are not just dead stock you have to search for. So, I picked this thing up, installed it and immediately sent it on a 2,500 mile spin and I can tell you fully, it's great. GET ONE. Thank you as always for the love and for spending your time with me. Ride safe!

What other How To's would you like to see for the Monsters?
Windscreen
Handguards
@@Ian-ir7wo been meaning to put those on for the colder months
The final installation directly on the motorcycle was brilliantly simple. It is super :-)
Just what I thought, looks super solid and a breeze to swap against the seat and back. Sweet.
Its the way to go, for sure.
If you are looking for luggage for the Monster 937 without needing to remove the pillion seat or in addition to the this rack there is not much available. But Hepco & Becker do 'C Bow' pannier racks specifically for the 937 that take their soft panniers. Not the largest panniers in the world but good quality and look good on the bike.
Its possible to use Kreiga bags even without the Hepco Becker rack, but the rack makes them 100% more stable. Never been a huge fan of panniers. Kriega US30 + US20 does the job.
15:20 comment and the long time to assemble makes me want to ditch this option. Massive thanks for the video!
No damage caused at all, just FYI, plus I’ve wrapped those panels. It’s also super easy to put together, I love this thing.
Thanks! I'll consider it. Still waiting for the evotech kits to arrive then I'll look for bags :)
looking Physically good my guy, keep up the good work
Thank you. Took last 2-3 weeks off from gym like a LARDO cuz of traveling. About to get back in there
You lost some weight there lad 👍🏻. Gym paying off or is it the greens powder 🤔.
Top vid as always, looking forward to the Canada trip vlogs
Gym is DEF paying off - but i been slacking last few weeks with all the time off and traveling. Come September and once all traveling is over I'm going back in hardcore.
Just ordered one based solely on your video. I should receive it in a week.
Smart choice and thank you for trusting me 🙌
Excelentttttttt!!!🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾👌👌👌🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
SURE IS :)
that voice has to be stanley tucci !
ha! who? ME??! for sure.
how would the 40litre Kriega bag look , across the rack ? the rack begs for a couple of front "crosswise" slots - like the tail end.
I plan on getting a 40L Kriega so I'll report back - and yea, I've considered cutting a few extra slits in there. Easily done.
the rack would def seem to give a more secure mounting platform than just kriega loops under the seat as per ducnyc''s other video. is there any locating feature on the underside of the tail to stop a wrap round strap moving back or forward ??
No there is not. Not that I know of. I just remove it.
the c bow panniers are only 18litres each. the tail rack seems to offer more opportunity.
Not a big fan of side panniers - always prefer a top mount bag like these Kriegas
How was the seal underneath to protect your electronics?
I ask that because you are an all weather kind of rider :
Seems to be just fine. We hit some SERIOUS rain and thunderstorms in Canada and all was good. No issues. The rack is solid - the bags didnt move at all, usually i would be checking on them constantly but they were snug. Glad I got this.
Great video! So did the Sportrack scuff your paint job and panels?
The rack did not, but the straps for the kriega bags did. That said, does not bother me at all, I’m wrapping those panels plus I kind of like a scratched up used bike
Interesting rack. I should check out that company, and see if they got some good stuff for my bike.
Apparently this company is the real deal - I'm just learning about them.
Great video, thanks. What size Kriega’s are mounted at the end? US20 + US10?
You're welcome. No, these are US30 and US20
@@ducatinyc Fantastic. That’s exactly what I am packing on long trips.
You are a Fucking Legend!!!!🙌🙌
Ha. You are too kind
Damn wth, how did I end up unsubed from your channel? I remember being the first 200 subs here. Good times.
so frustrating. after my channel got hacked a few months ago THOUSANDS of my old subs got auto unsubed and CZcams wont help me at all. Messed them 1000000000 times.
Apply some PPF on those plastic parts of the seat, that will rub indeed. The PPF is so cheap, why bother with repainting or losing resale value
Or pull a rubber/flex chord through the hoops to keep them on the rack when not in use.
I'm actually about to wrap the bike so - that will be kind of like PPF
