Awesome ride again - laughed at the guy @7:12 who looks to his right in disbelief that he is being overtaken by a Monster.
The track looks awesome and the monster sounds great. Thanks for taking us along.
Amazing performance on this Monster and awesome riding! That was a blast to watch this naked street bike go head-to-head with these fully-faired sport bikes. Impressive!
I hope i become as good a rider as you someday. You were by far the fastest person on the track with not the fastest bike. Nice one!
I got mine a week ago. Stealth black Monster +. I love it and ride it every chance I get.
Great video Bill!!
I love watching you reel em in!!
You are wicked fast!
Great job!!
awesome ride Cal, keep the videos coming, thanks
Awesome video I can hardly wait to get mine on the track!!
Nicely done, you worked that bike!!
I love to see it again on the track when youâre done putting your own stamp on it.
Oh I forgotâŠ
Nice job! Taking my SP to the track next month đ
I have the bike since one weekâŠwhat a great bikeâŠI fall in love with itâŠ
Still waiting on mine đ„Č
Great Video, that was fun to watch đ !!! Did you notice any scratching of the shift lever or footpeg when leaning in the corners ???
Holly Molly. I just bought one, and for shure I am not going to do a better job!!!! Best wishes from Spain (Madrid) đđđ. New subscriber.
That was awesome....great riding!
That was fun. Thanks.
Love it ...more please
Great video!!
What a rider u r â€
Bill putting that Monster to work
que tal se siente la suspendiĂłn? esta bien para circuito aĂșn cuando no es ajistable ? gracias gran video
Love the trailer

Hi mate, I was watching as I might want to do a bit of track fun with mates, would you say stock trim was perfectly enjoyable or newer SP models would have been better with setup suspensions and stylema brembo brakes?
I felt like stock one was pretty good but rather ask :)
Una bestia! â€
đ đ đ
Bravo! Bravo veramente!
đđđ
It would be nice to hear the sound of the Termi exhaust on this version, surprised it hasnât come out yet
Whatchu mean, it's on the accessories list lol.
It's available, just on backorder. Sounds amazing though.
What do you like better on the track, the monster or xr?
Very clean looking heading through that traffic đ±đłđ€đ§đđđ
Ducati Monster, I want it!
Relatable!
Just brought my fist ducati monster 937 collect it Saturday, I'm like a kid with his hand stuck in a sweet jar without reaching the sweets đ at the moment đŹ.
Nice! Congrats, be safe out there.
Best Monster ever!!!
đ đ đ
Ordered mine.
I'm trying to decide between this new 2021 Monster, a Triumph Street Triple, and a Yamaha MT-09. Do you think it's the best bike for $12K USD? Or is there something else in that price range you would prefer? And I noticed you were also testing a Supersport 950. If you had to choose between the Supersport and the Monster, which would you pick?
@@CaliMotoTV Thank you. Really appreciate your input. Love your reviews.
Why are you short shifting on the front straight?
I never understood getting the baby Monster instead of the 1200 until watching this. Dudes rolling past higher hp sport bikes, highlighting the weakest link is me, not the CC, 111 HP is all you need
maybe because there is a lot of turning so the lower power range of a twin is better for the constant re accelerations? with a lot more straights i am sure the others guys would own the monster. Or the monster guy is just better and more confident to push himself where as the others don't want to push it as much. Many factors
My home track is about 2 miles long and ex-AMA racers are turning lap times close to the fastest superbikes on Ninja 400's. The light weight of the Monster is a big advantage!!
The smaller bike is also ducatis entry bike, you wouldnât want someone starting on the 1200 or a v4r, it wouldnât end well for them, but you could definitely start on this bike.
@@NoHope_ this bike goes pretty good. It's a middle weight naked and until you actually ride one you won't have as much respect for it. I bought one and nothing but compliments. I have friends who ride Harleys and R1, Ninjas and all the other crotch rockets and myself, I have been on all sorts of bikes. I let a few of them ride my Monster with Full Termignoni Race Exhaust and Up map and they gained respect for it really quickly. The power to weight ratio, the beautiful looks, the sound with the Termignoni. It's no Monster 696 or even a 821, it's a different beast (I've been on a 821). I still like the lower cc Monsters too but this bike is next level. the KTM Duke 890 R, Yamaha MT 09 and Ducati Monster 937 are the best middle weight naked bikes.
@@NoHope_you have scrambler. Here is a post beginner bike. But not big bike ready guy. Just in this spot.
Or also more road bias bike⊠:)
What tires are you running?
Important question I need to ask, I have a sport bike I use for track. I'm 53 now, did sports throughout my younger years and I get really sore end of a track with my sport bike. Would you consider the 2021 Monster or the new V2SF? I would change Monster suspension (Ohlins does rear shock, not sure about fronts) and go with that bike if it is more upright...please help, share your knowledge my friend! : )
We can't really say which one is better given we haven't ridden the V2SF yet. The Panigale V2 is brilliant. It also really depends what HP you're enjoying / comfortable with, what tracks you frequent. Monster has 115hp vs V2 155hp.
Hitting 120 in 4th is damn impressive
đ đ đ
From the apparent lack of effort, I would say this guy could dispatch those sunday pilots even on a 125cc.
I love my monster. Stop later,accelerate faster i small track/ circuit/ road.
đ
Im gi iskina gazinjata... đ
Wow you smoked all sports bikes on a naked, hats off.
How was it with the wind though, isn't it terrible on a naked?
Not really.
@@CaliMotoTV nice, thanks for sharing man. Do you feel the same with any naked or there are some that are a bit better than others
@cali whats ur V-max with the new monster?
@@CaliMotoTV your highspeed dude đ ( V-Max = Highspeed)
It doesn't look like a monster but expected to perform like a real monster
Hi Cali,
I wonder what the loudest/best sounding exhaust is for the ducati streetfighter v4.
Thanks
@@CaliMotoTV thanks
Very interested what Dave Moss has to say about the non-adjustable front forks.
You can still change springs, shim, or use different weight oil to make changes in sag, spring rate, dampening, etc.
Sometimes you get lucky. My 2021 Trident was spot on in the forks.
32mm sag. ( I adjust for 30 to 35 mm ) Dampening and spring rate were also spot on.
Rear shock sucked, so I adapted a Sachs shock from an early Aprilia RSV4 Tuono.
Used Penske 750 LB spring and was at 14 mm assembled preload FTW. đ
The Sachs shock, itself, can be had off Ebay for $ 90 to 110 USD. 12 inch eye to eye.
@@RidingDownUnder 190 Lbs in street clothes, 215 in full dead cow and helmet.
I need more detailed videos Ducati monster
There's several on the channel. Check it out.
Why is he doing a rev match?
It has a quick shifter.
Is the clutch fluid supposed to look cloudy like that? Since you've ridden the supersport, the hypemotard and this, which do you think is most compatible with the testastretta engine? Does it feel the same on all 3 bikes?
good question
I've yet to see the launch control being used anywhere
There's no launch control on this bike.
@@CaliMotoTV The monster 937 actually does have launch control. I agree though I have not seen anyone use it.
Is it limited?
Only by the rider
why side mirrors are covered ?
Because you're out on track and you're not supposed to look back.
@@CaliMotoTV oh, so we should not see the rider coming close behind us?
Did you noticed how Hot your engine was running during this session ,??
No as long as the bike moves you're fine.
top speed of 127mph? I'm glad I didn't get the 2022 Monster 937, i was looking at. my GSX-S750 will run 122mph.
Ma gli altri,⊠sono in gita domenicale? đ
Haha, guess who ;)
Baby Monster vs Full Monster? (If you have riden both)
Is it the 1200 Monster????
@@svig137 No, it's the new 937cc Monster+ (in the video, not sure I got your question)
@@CaliMotoTV I was referring to the new 937cc like the Monster+ you drove on the track vs the larger 1198cc Monster 1200
The Monster has now morphed into a track bike. Good grief.
@@CaliMotoTV Some just a little more work than others! ;
I know this circuit from memory thanks to iRacing
Click bait. Terrorize a turtle.
Dude does not know how to take corners
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
It's VERY slow
Yea I noticed it was so slow it passed everyone on the track.
@@dianahardy7916 you ride perfectly and I would like to ask, how fun it is? Did you enjoyed it
Is miles/hour , not km/hour
@@CaliMotoTV đ
So 135 mph are 217 kmh its probably as fast as my Fiesta 1.0 eco but looks amazing an handles perfekt like the looks of this videođ„ i am probably flaming for my one but comes sadly dez or Janđ
