I worked as a lowly dishwasher making minimum wage for about a year. I didn't mind the low wages as much as the fact that the servers made about 3 times more while doing less work. They always say "Remember to tip your server", but what about the other slave-laborers there working behind the scenes?
When it comes to pay, no job should be paying less than $20/hour now.. There was a recent survey showing in how many states you can afford a basic 2br apartment off of $15 an hour and the result was nowhere
@@krystalpierre1302 yeah most of the times the stuffed crust is super undercooked and poorly made. But on the rare occasion it was cooked / made right, it was really good actually

But you dont work for a company.. you work for their managers....And you are completely right about the amount of Karens and Kyles LC experiences compared to the more high end pizza joints! lol... god forbid you wait 7 minutes.. or go wait 30 other places!!! hope you find whats best for you in life!!! You're not the only one. The most I made at a job was 95k a year and still couldn't do it. I live close to a major city but being a suburb houses should be relatively affordable.. but nope
I'm in my 40's, and I notice that adults my age that vote a specific side of the isle and follow their party like a cult are voicing that "people working these minimum wage and food service jobs just don't have the same people skills anymore" and then I look at the way they behave and they are the exact karens you're talking about. I try to tell them they get what they give but they believe everybody and everything should be subservient to them. Rude awakening for them coming someday I guess. I haven't worked customer service in about 22 years but still try to go out of my way to genuinely stop a second and have real interaction with people working customer service jobs and thank them honestly.
