MY MARATHON DOS AND DONTS: Getting the MOST out of your training

  • 3 weeks till Seville. Had a great long run/workout on Sunday. Thanks to friends that supported the cause!
    Feeling anxious, excited, grateful for all that’s ahead. Not going to lie, it feels different to be training for a spot on the Olympic team. Everything feels more important, pressure is there. Pressure is a privilege.
    One more hard week and then we taper.
    Stick around til the end to hear some of my dos and don’ts in marathon training that I utilize throughout my training regimen.

    I'm enjoying your videos Rory, thanks for the insights! Please consider changing the title of this video though - it's called "Marathon do's and donts", but the advice actually comes in only for the last ~4 mins, while the rest is your own training updates (which are great too!).

    Running 10 miles at 3:30min per km at 140bpm just called me slow and lazy on so many levels…

      HR its diferent with the Weather, hot, cold, humidity, rest, etc

      That was the temp at the start it got much better as we went 😂
