      I will be heading back up there in a couple weeks to do some walleye fishing. Looks like you now have a new spot to try. I've always done good at that spot. Good luck!

    At 40 thousand acres that's a chunk of water to explore....I've got about the same in the Refuge!! Nice to have a variable bite and to even snag a boat slam!!

      Driving from one end to the other is a quick reminder of how big this lake is! It's a favorite lake for many Minnesotans. On another note, I just got my boy Reed his first tackle box. He really enjoyed filling it up. Mostly with all the lures you sent us. Thanks again for doing that.

    I admire your patience. There’s no way I could of drove all the way across the lake without stopping and casting at every spot I thought was good. Hahaha he found the basshole. Nice walleye cathes! Only had chance to fish them once, it was amazing time

      I've been to this lake a few times, otherwise I probably wouldn't have made it to the other end without stopping. Thanks Eric for stopping by.

      That's an awesome place to have a cabin. My in laws have a cabin near the lake as well, so I get to go fishing there about once a year.

    I thought a wet hat may be the key to catching bass and northern pike! 😂
    You found the walleye and small mouth 👍

      I'll make Reggie dip his hat in the water next time to see if it has the same effect.

      Thanks 👍 I'm sure I could spend all week there. I've had some monster musky follows in the past. I have yet to catch the 50 incher, but when I do, I'm sure I'll have the cameras running.

    That was so amazing my Man! You really did it, you went from small fish to the bigger ones, maybe running a little bit slower would help to keep hats on the head! LOL! As always great video!

    Man that is a lot of navigating on that lake. Our lakes are mostly round, or oval. 😝 Looks like a nice sized lake for some pro bass tournaments.

    • @GoMidwestFishing

      Sometimes I forget how big this lake is, and I think I can cover more of it than I actually can. You definitely could send a whole week here.

    Yeah, A walleye! BTW You’ve inspired me to make a fishing video. Stay tuned, I just have to edit and post.. What setup do you use? Camera? Chest mount? Microphone?

  • @fatherandsonsfishing
    @fatherandsonsfishing Před 3 lety +2

    Well, for that lake being 40 million acres or whatever, you and Reggie sure did cover a lot of ground. Great job with the walleyes, too. Looks like Dennis hooked you up with some good spots! So what was that last thing at the end -- A Reggie fart or cuss word that got edited out?
