Tough to beat lake vermilion I've been lucky my family has had a boat access cabin north of shamrock marina for the last 40 years the slot limit helped the lake immensely we catch multiple walleyes every year that are 24-29 " with loads of nice eaters like you caught if you know where to look there are huge crappies too

Where is that 1st spot at, it looks really familiar? I was up there 1st week of September and saw your boat out a few times, usually by Shamrock. We stayed at Spring Bay.

This is why there is a slot limit on walleye there, stop showing people where to fish up here. I haven't fished since they put a slot on them.
